It was our first night in Marrakech and what a great choice! Riad Lorsya is a hidden gem. We loved everything about it. The room was lovely, with an exotic feel, clean and comfortable. The Riad is very quiet. Breakfast was delicious and big, not mentioning the fact that to my surprise I was provided with a gluten free bread! The riad is beautiful, with rooms set around a courtyard and was a relaxing retreat after the heat and bustle of the Medina. Very friendly staff and most had good levels of English speaking, only a couple had limited English but this was not a problem, plenty of staff on hand to help and assist for anything, really nice riad with traditional features, lots of seating areas inside and outside on the roof terrace, 2 different outdoor pools and plenty on sun beds as well. The staff made us feel very welcome. The room was very comfortable and it was all very pretty. The plunge pool was great cooling off in. We went on an excellent excursion to the atlas mountains which was organised by the riad and also good value. They also organised the transfer back to the airport. The driver was very nice.

There are many things that we really liked, here is a basic list:
1. Location: The riad is 15mins drive from the airport. The taxi can drop you at the doorstep unlike many other Riads which are located in the narrow lanes of the Medina and have to be reached on foot. Which can prove to be an overwhelming experience when you have just arrived in th

The Riad is very nice, we had a nice breakfast every morning and got an upgrade of our room for free. The room had aircon, was cleaned everyday and the bathroom is perfect. The swimming pool is small, but if you just want to cool down it's a perfect size! I would absolutely recommend it. It's a ten minute walk from the 'Jema el fnaa' square in a quiet neighborhoud.
