We liked everything: super friendly staff (Jakibe) that welcomed us with the classic mint tea, provided us with a perfect guide for the Medina and gave us advice on where to have lunch and dinner, while offering us the mint tea when we returned from dinner and we fell into conversation with other guests from the Dar. The breakfast was very nice, and the fact that Dar Warda is located in the Medina and English and French are also spoken, is perfect. alle vurderinger »
I really enjoyed my stay at Dar Warda. Cute, nice and clean place in the medina. I thought that it was not that hard to find and its close to one of the two biggest streets in the medina. Just remind their number (31), we accidentally walked in to another persons house. ;-)
The mattress was the nicest one on my whole trip.
I liked everything! The very friendly and kind staff, the clean and nice
room, the location near one of the main street. Unlikely we didn't
taste the breakfast because we left at 8 am, but I'm sure it would
not disappoint us! It was the only riad in Marocco where the staff could
talk english and italian too!.
Friendly and hospitable staff; privacy; obviously quite recently
renovated; despite its perfect location in the heart of the old medina a
very quiet place; very close to plenty of cafes and restaurants situated
around Bab Boujouloud; rich breakfast; very reasonable price in
comparison to other riyads.
The staff were fantastic - a;lways available and willing to help with questions or assistance.
The guesthouse is a beautiful old building right inside the medina - step outside and you're right in the hustle of the market - inside is tranquillity and always a welcoming cup of tea.
Friendly and helpful hosts, excellent location in the medina, good
breakfast in the morning, the possibility to book a trustworthy guide,
authentic design with a real moroccan feel, bargain price.
nice clean hotel. nice breakfast, well located in the medina. very friendly owners who also organised our transfers (well worth the money) didnt rush us out the day we were checking out.
Staff came to meet us at the Medina gate at 01:00 in the morning, and we had great service from all of them.
Dar Warda lets you feel part of the community.
The staff was very friendly, funny and enthausiastic! They could not have done more to make us feel home at Dar Warda. I would highly recommend this place.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the location is perfect, right in the heart of the medina but still quiet at night.
- extremely helpful staff!!!!
- located in the middle of the medina
- typical marrocan riad with nice terrace
- nice breakfast.
Nora, Chakib and Iassou: 3 very friendly staff members. Always ready to help.
Nice place in the middle of the Medina.
Absolutely the location and the roof top terrace was great for unwinding with a lovely view of the city of Fez.
Very typically Moroccan accommodation - highly recommended for its
beautiful zellij tile work.
Staff incredibly kind and helpful. Great position, great breakfast.amazing roof.
It is well located, the staff is friendly, brekfast is great!.
Great location
Very good breakfast
Very friendly staff.
everything.
The location is great, virtually on the main thoroughfare of the Médina. Staff were welcoming on arrival and offered mint tea, which was a nice touch. It cold this time of the year and got an extra thick blanket from the owner which made sure sleep was comfortable. There's also a beautiful terrace overlooking the Merinade, would be fantastic in the summer.

Nothing really.
A sign/name at the door would be good, otherwise no complaints!.
A sign or the name at least on the door could make easier to find it.
Anyway follow the indication for Riad Adarissa and a few meters beyond,
at number 31, ring at the door: it's Dar Warda!.
Wrongly located on googlemaps - it could be confusing for someone
visiting Fes for the first time!.
It was cold! Well, all of Fes was cold but I would suggest a space heater in the dining/sitting area would be helpful. (My bedroom had a heater and tons of blankets so I didn't feel the cold there, just in the communal area.
More regular changes of towels would be appreciated.
Hard beds, you need to ask for new towels (but apparently, it is
considered rude to enter someones room w/o permission, so not really
a con), toilets were not functioning properly.
Being december, it was quite cold at night but once we asked, the owner gave us two great blankets which worked a treat.
Hard to find the first time but then really easy as long as you can find your way back to the main street. No problem really. Don't go if you have a problem with steep stairs!.
- can be difficult to find (but the way to find it is an adventure and worth it ;-))
- we had a room with no door to the bathroom, which was awkward and made it a bit uncomfortable for us
- despite all, I recommend staying there :).
Hard to found, wasn't it that the host arranged us a taxi on our arrival and waited us up at the taxi stop.
A sign at the road could be usefull...
The keys were a nightmare, shouldn't be a problem but it made us really agitated!.
No hairdryer.
It is difficult to find, no sign on the door. Internet doesn't get to all the rooms.
no door on the toilet, and there is no any hanger to hang the clothes...
This riad is difficult to find and I had GPS. The door entrance is right underneath the archway with the number 31 written black on brown, which was barely legible. A sign pointing to the entrance would not hurt or at least have the number in brighter colours.
My bathroom needed updating; 1) For this price, toiletries should be provided 2) the toilet was not secured properly to the floor 3) the flush was loose and needed to be pressed hard.
