The only place where the rooms look amazing on the photographs, with rose pedals on the bed and all and that actually live up to that. When we entered the rose pedals were all over the bed, fresh roses in a vase and everything just spotless. The rooms are real nice and comfortable, shower is warm and stays warm, the bathroom is big. alle vurderinger » After realy bad experience in Marrakesh this Riad was the best thing in our trip. Very good located, nerby parking (It is not allowed drive into Medina). The Riad adorably decorated inside, very clean. Beautifull rooms with stylistic furniture. We've got a 'sweet' room with huge bath in the bathroom. Delicious breakfast every morning with fresh baguettes. The owners of Riad are realy nice, funny and friendly.I spent with my wife and friends unforgettable vacation and we recommend Riad Akiba for. Riad Akiba was absolutely fantastic! It's spotlessly clean and its staff was really welcoming. Additionally, it's location was truly convenient: only five minutes away (by walking) from both bus station and the souks, and very close from the sea-side, too. Furthermore, the breakfast was excellent and the facilities are brand new. Riad Akiba could easily be the best value-for-money choice that you might get in Essaouira!. We got an upgrade for free, Aisha the owner and her husband are very friendly and social. The Riad is clean, breakfast is good. Essaouira is very nice clean and safe place. The roads are amazing organized. We could use the wash machine daily. We stayed in the 'Neptune' room and it didn't have much natural light. Could be more athmospheric, but not a big issue. Nothing. There wasn't anything to dislike. The only downside is that, as the loby serves as a restaurant, which the owner uses for entertaining, the noise can be heard in the rooms. Hard to find in the medina and the shower was nog very comfortabel.We couldn't pay by creditcards (visa). Thin walls so you can hear neighbors. This riad advertised air conditioning and we booked it specifically based on this however when we got there there was no aircon. Thankfully they found us a fan. The riad smelt overwhelmingly of cigarette smoke which wafted into the room unless we kept all windows closed. The staff were a bit hopeless. We were made to wait at least 20 mins upon arrival in the reception area without anyone addressing us or telling us what was happening. The breakfast was average.
