I really liked Elias and his staff. Everybody was so nice and incredibly
helpful. Twice we got lost, first when we got there, and 2nd when we
went to explore the old medina and got all turned around, and Elias came
to our rescue both times. The room was clean and it had everything we
expected, it even had a space heater, which was much needed as i

The owner,Elias is the nicest person we have met in Morroco. It was freezing at the night in chefchaouen, but he brought us 2 heaters.
He also helped us book bus tickets to Fez.
The rooms were clean and we'll decorated, enough space for 6 people.
Wifi connection was also fine.
And from the terrace, you can see the fine view of the town.

Muhammed Ali is by far the friendliest and most helpful person we've met running a guesthouse. He gave us a free pick up and drop off, organized our bus tickets, surprised us with homemade yogurt on our first night, etc.etc.etc. He truly cares about great service and seems to be a genuinely good guy.
My tip for Muhammad would be to replace the pic

Casa del Rio and Chefchaouen was a peaceful respite in the midst of a
rather harried trip. The Moroccan government should hire the owner to
represent the country internationally - he was one of the most
thoughtful, considerate people I have ever met traveling, and was by
far the highlight of our Moroccan experience. The home is simple,
beautiful - the photos on the website don't do it justice. The pick
up from the bus station (even when the bus was 45 mins late), welcome
tea and delicious break

What a wonderful Riad! Chefchouen is my favorite city in Morocco and I can't have imagined a better place to stay! Mohammed was so kind and helpful, always taking our calls and assisting us with anything from directions to dinner reccomendations. The view from the riad was magnificent. There's no front desk or reception area- which for us was not

The location in the Medina was great and the private terrace had a beautiful view. Bathroom was clean and it had a great shower. Very affordable - good value for money. A pleasant and quiet place, which made for a relaxing stay in Chefchaouen.
