Rustic place, great location on the beach, nice staff. Great location, right on the beach. Beds were hard, pillows lumpy and the bathroom had a septic smell. Room was filthy, bed and pillow was very uncomfortable, towels completey threadbare and worn, mosquito net in bad condition and didnt cover the bed so we were both covered in insect bites. Open-to-nature style sounds good in theory (we've stayed in many of these around the world), but only works if the property and rooms are well maintained which this one isnt. Yelapa was a great escape, but I suggest finding a different hotel.
