Great stay with reasonable price. They have well english spoken staffs. They are all friendly and always greet us with warm smile. They tried their best to fulfill our request and to make sure that our are comfortable during your stay. Excellent Kimchee Sinchon team. It is also a great place to meet new friends. Hongdae's busiet area is just within a 5 mins of short walking distance. Great location. Suggest to visit Hongdae's Free Market on every Saturday. Location is very near to Hongdae, hip places for dinner out and bars/clubs. No need to worry for taxi or subway, can walk back to the hostel.
Hongik University subway station is also close by, around 10 minutes walking.
There is a 24 hours convenient store and a small homemade breakfast place open early in the morning around the neighbourhood.
It's clean, good heater in winter, staff are nice and helpful

Very clean, the staff are very friendly and like to help, answer on any question. The basement equipped with every thing you need! (Washing & dryer machine, kitchen, refrigerator, TV, computer and some extra)
The area is the best in Seoul! Next to hong-ik university, good night life and not so expensive!! I love kimchee sinchon hostel, the best hostel in Seoul!!!.
I like all of the facilities that this hostel offeres. the room is kinda small but it's comfortable and so nice. i stayed with 5 of my friends in the 6 beds mixed dormitory and we enjoyed it so much. The owner, Mr. Sean, is also really nice to us. he is really friendly. the location is strategic and easy to access. I would definitely stay here
again with my friends or with my family.
The guesthouse is clean and neat. Good support given to residents such as free wifi, kitchen, washing powder, shampoo, soap, wahing machine, dryer, computer, etc. Staff are very helpful and are ableto communicate in English very well. Very good location near Sinchon and Hongik Uni subway stations.
We were very welcomed by David at the reception. He helped us with advices to go around and answered all our questions thank you again! The common room is nice, as well as the rooms. Recycling bins are perfects !.
The price, the location and the staff are all excellent. Cleaned regularly and the reception is opened late.Stayed for 7 weeks and will be returning for a few weeks more in February.
Extremely good location easily access by subway, not far from hongdae subway station, the staff are friendly and very comfortable place to stay for budget traveller.
The room we got was nice and clean. We were in a private room and had
no trouble with noise from other rooms. Other guests in the hostel we

Management should suggest to frequent their cleanning schedule for toilet and shower room. However, they did renovation by putting tiles on shower room and toilets, which makes it a lot cleaner and nicer. Great effort.

Not a big problem though, as long as you're not bringing a huge and heavy luggage.
Sometimes the air-conditioner in our room is not really cool, so we often feel hot. But the staffs are really helpful to fix this. In the 2nd floor of the girls' shower room, i think the staffs should clean it more often, because so much hair in the shower room and no one cleans it, even the guests.
A few residents could return to their rooms late at night and made noise which could be heard by their neighbours.
Maybe some writings might be usefull to remember the customers to swicth off the lights in the bathrooms ;).

When we arrived with a reservation, they acknowledged the reservation,
but said that they were full and didnt have that room available. Long
story short, an hour later we ended up in a single room with an extra
bed when we booked a twin. They were kind and friendly but it took an
extraordinary amount of time. (We literally stood or sat at reception
for over an hour.).
Bathroom should be cleaned more often. Toilet paper often missing. Temperature inside the house was too low.
Just the lack of cleanliness left from the previous "visitor" of the toilet. Not the staff fault though. Visitors should clean up after ourselves too.

They refused to decrease the temperature of the air conditioning, so it was hot inside my room.
I'm allergic to feathers, and it was a bit disappointing to find out there was no other type of blankets.
