the hotel is excellent in everything .. its located in the city hall which is a popular place, all the taxi's and people knows about it .. there is 2 nearby palace, macdonalds, 24 hour market, insadong shopping district and another shopping area. the hotel is opposite the KAL airport bus stand located at koreana hotel. Very convenience for airport transit. Anyone who want to take the bus is exactly outside the arrival and checked with staff and asked for the koreana hotel stop.

The location was my primary reason to stay here. 'This was my 2nd time to stay at this property and I returned because It is quiet and clean and a good price for the location. I experienced h u g e help from stuff of the hotel. They devoted full day to search my small package, that I lost in bus in Seoul - finally: they found :). Location is excellent. Short walks to major attractions and good local food nearby. Near 2 subway lines within 5 mins walk. The position right in downtown,perfect place to stay and visit Seoul the room was clean and cozy,. Staffs are very friendly,courteous and always with an English speaking staff on duty. I like the staff change the room for us for a bigger room with window. Hotel located at the opposite side of a big hotel where airbus stops there, however, there is only subway in linking 2 points, unfortunately no lift or escalator! I have to carry my luggage up and down staircase. Any single female traveller may finds it inconvenient. Front desk officer's english is poor, Japanese is fluent, many Japanese staying. Hotel aircon is too dry, for those renting the no window room may feel very uncomfortable. For economy wide, it is very good compare with the adjacent. the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The front door stairs were a bit much after a long day of walking. They need to try to fashion a different type of entrance. This may be a petty complaint, but it is my only negative thought. Breakfast was too Asian as for me. Room temperature can not be controlled. So warm even after switching off the heater. Breakfast is nothing special, wifi was really slow. More TV channels needed especially English and sports channels. Also room colors too dark in both rooms i stayed. The room that we first booked without window its too hot and you can not stay there for too long. Its uncomfortable. I suggest that guest should not book the room without window even its cheaper. Since booking late, I stayed in the No-window room. I was not used to it... - Bathroom was somewhat small for a triple room; - There was a sewage smell coming from the bathtub drain. Cleaningness perfectible (shaving material left from previsous person), no coffee in the room but only tee. There are no free channels. Not anything to complain about, everything was very nice. We had 2 heavy suitcases but there was no bell boy to carry our luggage to our room. We were asked by the front desk people to carry our stuff to our room ourselves. inside room with no windows. Breakfast was not worth the price, very limited selection and the staff couldn't keep up with demand so half the trays were empty all the time. The room had no windows, but considering the price, it didn't really matter too much. - Pillows are horrible and the hotel cannot offer others. I could hardly sleep. - at first we were offered a rundown and dark room, dirty damaged walls, really more like cheap hostel quality. After a call to the reception, they offered us a better, but small room on the recently renovated 14th floor - def very overpriced. I did not like the toilets they are not dirty but I can say they are worth the money. Staff can be friendlier and willing to help. Simple task of hailing a taxi needs to be done on my own walking about 50m. The room very small and no window. In the room I didn't know day or night. Price for a night shouldn't be more than $40 considering what you get... Expensive. Things were all fine until the biggest cockroach I've ever seen kind of ruined my stay there. Rooms bads & AC. Out dated rooms and you can get more for your money else where in Seoul. no good supportive facilities. reserved a single bed room and I got a Double bed room. The front desk guy didnt speak english fluently. Hotel is Difficult to find. My deposit payment receipt was actually a value written on a name card... attitude of the reception staff - very poor. Wanted to charge for a poxy little tube of toothpaste. Breakfast is a waste of time - don't bother. They call it "continental breakfast" but all you get is one lousy coffee, small orange juice and slices of toast - without the option of a top-up. Eat elsewhere. The room was also too hot - luckily I could open the window to let in some air. I was very upset that on the booking information it stated there was wifi throughout the building when it was only in the reception lobby. This cost me so much as I needed the internet for business purposes and this is why I chose this hotel. I'm afraid it was very misleading and I am dreading my phone bill!. staff. The service, the size of the room, the color was dark as a jail, the room with out window !!, the staff was useless and the hotel did not met even the best westren standar. dirty, no windows in room, wifi doesnt work in rooms,expensive for what you get, to avoid by all means.
