Re-opened in 2012 after thorough renovations, the Tokyo Station Hotel is registered as an Important Cultural Property and boasts gorgeous rooms in a classical European style. It features a French restaurant and stylish bars, and free Wi-Fi is offered throughout. Its entrance is right next to the Marunouchi South Exit of Tokyo Station. Rooms at The Tokyo Station Hotel offer a delicious mix of plush décor and comfortable modern amenities, including an LCD TV and a minibar. Bathrobes and slippers are provided with the en suite bath. Just a 10-minute walk to the Ginza area and the Tokyo International Forum, the hotel is a 20-minute walk from the Imperial Palace. The Akihabara and Tsukiji areas are about a 10-minute drive away. You can enjoy a workout at the fitness centre or relax at the on-site spa. Additional services include a business centre, currency exchange and laundry services. Room service is also available. Guests with a breakfast meal plan can enjoy a Japanese and Western breakfast buffet at the Atrium, a 400-square metre hall with an enormous skylight and open ambience. The buffet features organic vegetables and hot dishes prepared right in front of the guests.

We were doing a Michelin starred restaurant tour in Tokyo and the manager of Customer Relation was extremely helpful. After a dozen emails going back and forth, cancellation and reschedule, she mangaged to help us to book some really fine restaurants. We couldn't ask for more. Thank you Mori!. In short: this is "The Hotel". Exceptional service already starts at check in. The rooms are nice designed, restaurants all with excellent service, the concierge organizes whatever desire you have;sightseeing, shopping, dining, transportation.... This hotel is for me a must when in Tokyo.

No request is unfulfilled. Convenient to transportation. The renovation was done tastefully, staying in character, and yet not one modern convenience was missed. Very convenient location to visit Tokyo. You can take JR to most places of Japan. There are also numerous dining option in the railway station and surrounding area. The Hotel is very well equiped and decorated. The satff are first -rated!. The hotel has many original heritage design features. High ceilings and classic European styling. The room is super clean. This is a very professional and well run hotel. It was definitely worth the money I paid. I arrived in the evening with the Narita Express and left the next morning on the Shinkansen. Since this hotel is in the same building where these trains meet, it was very practical and stress free. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. This hotel was luxury. Had a great nights sleep. Would recommended it made me feel like a million dollars. Also because of the design of the hotel (a piece of art itself) some rooms require a very long walk to get to the elevator. The oak bar is rather small. Not sure if I would stay again until I better understood the best transport from Narita. Took the hotel bus but ended up across the street and since first time I was clueless and then wandering through the train station with all my luggage, lost, until I finally found the hotel. Leaving was also inconvenient for me as I didn't want to take the train to Narita with my luggage. If you stay in the room with single digit # ( such as 3001 )i, you will walk a long way to get there. You will pay quite a lot for breakfast in the hotel, but there are some café around if you know where to find them. I have complaints at all. Strictly a 3 pm check-in rule in which could be more flexible, should there be available rooms. No view from my window except a concrete wall. I believe behind the concrete wall is the train track. Bedroom small for two people. Nothing not to like. Breakfast was the same every day for the six days so became a bit montonous. No swimming pool available No gym free available. No swimming pool. Patchy Internet. A very business hotel. Clientele are of a more mature, formal group.
