First time staying at a capsule hotel. I quite liked it. Females only capsules. It's nothing fancy or anything, but it is great value for the price you pay to stay in Tokyo. Even though I think it's quite safe with your luggage there in the common area, I would still advise you to bring a lock for your luggage if you don't normally bring one just in case.
Location was really close to Sensoji Temple and all the beautiful streets of Asakusa. People working there was very kindly and our first night we got a very good recommendation for having dinner (and cheap) and we also are very thankful because they help us to get into a Sumo training at Ryogoku.alle vurderinger »
Cheap hotel conviently located in the heart of Asakusa, with the Senso-
Ji right across the street. The staff was extremely helpful and
efficient, and the room was clean and the japanese-style beds were
confortable. Awesome value for money!.
The hotel is located a couple of minutes far from the Senso-Ji, the
shortest and the most beautiful way from the metro, by night. The staff
is really friendly and make a lot of effort to understand your desire.
Great location near the park and 10mins from the subway. The staff are brilliant and so helpful. The pods are a nice size and clean. The showers are hot and the bed covers warm. It feels very safe there.
I arrived early from my previous hotel, staff was able to keep my luggage and put it in my room at 1600 for check in time. Staff is always friendly, also nice area not far from subway station!.
We stayed at the hotel for one night in a couple room and it was very good. The location is perfect for tourists, the rooms are clean and pretty well equipped. And very cheap indeed!.
The staff were super-helpful and even told us a few nice stories. They were going out of their way to be friendly and helpful and this made our stay all the better.
Location is good and price is cheap indeed, and rooms are clean. Also, they have a good old-japanese-style bathroom with a bath and small sauna.
Location is great!
Personnel are friendly, speak English good enough.
Everyday cleaning, light snacks are included in the price of the room.
Friendly and helpful staff.Short walking distance to interesting places for sight seeing and food.Stayed for 5 nights.
The location is perfect for visiting Tokyo. The staff is very helpful and the rooms have everything you need!.
The location is good. It is near the temple. And there is a lawson convenience store outside.
Really friendly and helpful staff,
clean rooms, towels, toothbrush, soap/shampoo provided.
Location is pretty good! Japanese style bed (Tatami) is better than
I imagined.
All the staff are very nice, and they speak Chinese and English.
Nice Hotel and verry frendly staff in the best place in Tokyo!.
Location. It's just next to the temple. And also the cleaness.
Bathroom, wifi access, tea making facils, washing facils.
Area around hotel is very good, many shops, arcade, food.
I really liked the japanese style room.
- Friendly Staff
- Clean and tidy room.
Location, friendly staff.
Nice staff, wifi works everywhere. Location is okay, very good for exploring asakusa but the nearest subway station is about a 10 minute walk away. Not a problem for me though.
Aircon in the room was a lifesaver.
My first time in a capsule hotel and enjoyed having more privacy than in a dorm room. Comfortable enough, especially since I'm small.
Surprised to have the luxury of a sauna.
Very friendly staff. The hotel location is great it is near Sensoji temple!.
- room clean
- near temple sensoji
- reserved without credit card.
Mattress was comfortable . Goo location for the subway around tokyo.
The wifi on the 3rd floor didn't connect very well. I couldn't get wifi from my floor and had to connect to the wifi of other floors. Also, the hotel is quite far from all the Asakusa train stations. Also, there were no plugs around to charge my phone or camera. There were only 2 sockets in the washroom and then 2 more in the smoking room.
Just let know that the rooms are small and the beds are futons.
The bathroom was very small, but hey, you're in Japan!.
The futons were not thick enough; we felt the ground sleeping.
There is only a communal shower even a partition would be nice. The only communal seating area is smoking and I don't smoke, luckily it's rather quiet most of the time.
Cannot think of anything.
The shower was a bit uncomfortable, but nothing to worry about.
They don't have a kitchen! You can use a teapot with hot water but there's no place to sit comfortably, drink some tea or eat your dinner...
The wifi does not work.
Quite far away from the nearest metro station (15 min).
No breakfast... Limited room space, but understandable.
The capsule is too small, and without electricity plug.
Location. It's 15 min's walk from the subway. And it's not easy to find.
For the first time, you have a long walk from Asakusa station. Otherwise, get the shortcut through Sensoji is very short.
- Far location from station
- A little bit expensive for this quality.
no breakfast
very late check-in (4pm), especially when you just arrived from the airport and are desperate for a shower.
The fiberglass feeling of the capsule. And I worried every time I hit the sides of the capsule, that the person adjacent to me would hear it.
The impersonality of the staff and the other guests was strange to me, being more used to hostels, but I guess that comes with the privacy that I did appreciate.
I didn't feel comfortable asking the staff questions about Tokyo, sightseeing plans, etc. and I didn't notice any information available.
The beds needed to be more comfortable. No chairs in the room.
- Does not has public room for meeting people or relax outside.
Very dated. Floors unclean. Seemed badly maintained. Electrical tape was used everywhere.
