The Ryokan has no elevator, and if your room is in the 2nd floor, you have to lift your luggage upstairs and take it downstairs yourself, and no towles, toothbrush...you have to prepare the daily stuff yourself.   Jimmy was incredibly nice and has a good grasp of English. The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed and the facilities are good. There's a separate men's and women's shower or toilet (which I don't much care for, but I know some would). It's a few minutes walk from both the Toho subway line and some really great restaurants.   I came with my mum and we really love the place. The owner Poppo is a very nice and easygoing lady. She very kindly picked us up at Biel station as she was also running errands in that area at the period of time. Dinner and breakfast were thoughtfully prepared and there were really delicious!
