  The room and facilities were clean, fairly large and overall it was a nice hotel. There were many restaurants to choose from - although a bit pricey. Staff were friendly overall. The room was very nice and was larger than I thought it would be!   A hostel in Hakodate, quite far from the Hakodate Station, but close to the sea. The Ryokan has no elevator, and if your room is in the 2nd floor, you have to lift your luggage upstairs and take it downstairs yourself, and no towles, toothbrush...you have to prepare the daily stuff yourself.
