Only 1 minute away from the train station, this hotel is fine for an overnight stay. A variety of restaurants are only a couple of blocks away, and the Matsumoto castle is within walking distance. The hotel is part of a group which includes a spa outside of town. They provide bus transportation and allow guests to use the spa free of charge. The baths at the spa were wonderful. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, though their English were limited. They were always willing to help and patient. The free breakfast buffet was nice. The hotel is literally a minute's walk from the train station and it's only about 15-20 minutes' walk from Matsumoto Castle.
