costumer that makes requests. The reception were very sofisticated
with a very nice design. The room had a great space and the design

Karasuma,indeed,it´s as most people say. Very comfortable and super
clean hotel. In one of the most busy avenues of Kyoto but when inside
what you really hear is just a slight traffic rumour. The room maids
where very good, altough I usually left the towels and kimono hanging
they nonetheless changed everyday. The fully equiped kitchenette is a
plus for a snack or light meal if you´re to tired to go out. Just

When booking a room I asked for a quiet room, and this request has been dealt with in a most perfect manner possible - the view was over a cemetery. Hotel location is absolutely perfect, in pedestrianized Rokkaku-dori, just off the busy Kawaramachi-dori, with hotel being well shielded from traffic by a large UniQlo shop. The room was excellent, not too small, clean and nicely decorated. A beautiful an relaxing place to stay, good for holidays and for a business trip.

The location is superb for a taste of real Kyoto. Beautiful streets full of temples around. We were in a two-room (suite) japanese room with bathrooom during Gion Matsuri so that price was high but reasonable. This is a family Ryokan and hence lacks services. The dedication and desire to please of the family that runs the hotel highly compensates. I would certainly like to return.

great place in a traditional style (we took Japanese room). Though not on the budget side of price and breakfast is not included in the rate, it is worth every penny paid. Very nice hotel. Clean, quiet, elegant and comfortable. Unlike most of the hotels we've visited in Japan, it is rather spacious and with a touch for detail. This is so good hotel. Very new, very modern, clean and well designed. Very nice breakfasts, free coffee all day long in lobby and very comfortable tables for work. Just one thing — they have that weird check in payment machines, but i am sure they will remove they soon. Very good hotel and very close to Kyoto Central Station — 5 min walk. Definitely and strongly recommended.
