Once we found the place we realized what a great location it was....across the street from the train station. We had breakfast every morning there and for 500 yen it was quite a bargain. A typical Japanese style meal. The public bath was wonderful. Since the inn is small, it was almost like a private bath.
Room was spacious. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends.
My 9yo son and I loved this place. The staff and even the guests were
very nice and, I think, sensitive and helpful given that we were
foreigners. We seemed to be the only non-Japanese staying here, and
people were quite patient with us. It was a wonderful cultural
experience. And so close to public transit. Would definitely stay here
again. Price is perfect as well (a deal, actually).alle vurderinger »
Very clean, people are so helpful and with a big smile. Accommodation Japanese style, very comfortable and warm.
A tea is waiting for you every day in your room.. and free coffee in the morning....
The staff was helpful and the room was comfortable and clean. Location was fine- just a few minutes from the central station.Excellent value for money!.
This was a clean, modest but pleasant ryokan. The staff was not that friendly, but okay. Close to the station, but quiet. Strict about rules!.
Friendly staff. Good hot bath. Laundry facilities. Free coffee in
morning. Clean but simple lodging. Great location at good price.
Very clean and typical japanese style. Good position very closed to the KYOTO train station.
Clean, traditional and central. What more could you ask for.
great position, nice onsen, nice room, staff always nice.
Attractive Japanese style room. Good internet access.
Traditional Japanese room and location.
Authentic Japanese experience.
The very nice ofurô.
Very Traditional.
Very Japanese style hotel that was one step up from a hostel. Had both
private bathroom and public bathroom rooms available. All futon beds in
room and no real chairs which was nice until you got tired of bending
over to eat your breakfast in your room. All in all, very nice place in
walking distance from train station and staff were very considerate but
spoke very little English. Good value for the money and I would stay
here again.
close to JR Kyoto easy to find. Able to leave luggage prior to check in. A little English spoken.
Good location
Clean and tidy.
location.
Location was great, rooms clean and ok sized.
The only good thing is the location.
Nothing to complain about.
I wouldn't recommend it particularly for a romantic stay, since it's very basic...
Not very flexible about rules for our western sensibilities (11 PM curfew, no assistance between the hours of 10 and 4).
Wi-fi in rooms would have been good. It was only available in the lobby,
which they stated in their description of facilities.
At night it close at 10 PM, to early if are enjoying the city.
Service didn't really reflect the warm friendly hospitality I
received in the rest of Japan. But they definitely weren't rude so
that's plus.
the panorama from the room was not very nice a wall (room nr 104), to call from the phone room to Italy was very expensive, please, check the rate in advance.
Lack of English information and coffee available only from 7-9 am.
neon light directly outside room but still able to sleep.
The price qutie expensive.
Weak water pressure and water temperature in 11:30pm.
expensive given the shared bathroom facilities
the 11pm curfew is absurd given the location in a beautiful city with lots to see. Given the price of the accomodation this was unnecessary.
The reception guy was very unhappy that i delayed 30mins to check out & gave me a very unhappy look when i left...
This hotel is family run and they make the rules. There is a lock up at 11pm and you have to be in the hotel at that time if not you sleep on the street. You basically pay for a stay in prison! The tatami bed is catastrophe and wifi works only in the lobby. Not at all a pleasant experience.
Staffs or probably the owners are not friendly. The policy of locking the doors of the hotel from 11pm to 6am is inconvenient to us.
I will not recommend this hotel to my friends.
