After a booking is made, guests will receive an e-mail from the property explaining the payment procedures. Guests must pay one night's deposit within 3 days of receiving the payment instructions in order to secure the booking, otherwise the booking will be cancelled. The final payment for the entire stay is due 30 days prior to the check-in date. Guests who cancel the booking may receive a refund in accordance with the Cancellation Policy. Guests must check-in at the Management Company and receive a key to the property. Their office is located near JR Kyoto Station and is open daily from 09:00 to 21:00. There is no child rate. Children will be charged normal adult rates unless they are infants who can share a bed. Located on a narrow, stone-paved street, surrounded by longstanding townhouses, Kiyomizu Machiya Inn is the perfect townhouse to take a break from your worries and stress. The UNESCO world heritage site, Kiyomizu Temple, is located just a 10-minute walk away. The completely non-smoking, wooden townhouse has modern furnishings and décor, as well as air conditioning and free WiFi. Other convenient amenities offered include a washing machine, towels, linens and free toiletries. On the ground floor is a seating area with a sofa, where you and your friends can relax with a glass of wine, before heading out for dinner. The upper floor has three bedrooms, one with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and futon bedding, another with hardwood floors and twin beds, and a third with carpeted floors and futon mats. A variety of restaurants and shops are located just within a few minutes’ walk from Kiyomizu Machiya. The nearest convenience store and supermarket are located within a 5-minute walk. If you feel like staying in the neighbourhood, Yasaka Shrine is a 9-minute walk away. Otherwise, hop on a bus to visit the Shijo-Kawaramachi shopping area, or explore the various temples and shrines of Kyoto.
