The staff all speaks excellent English and it was nice to ask them about which buses to take to the sites. The rooms were spacious for the price and for Japanese standards, and very comfortable. The facilities were modern and clean, with a full kitchen and bar by the front desk. The breakfast buffet was cheap and pretty tasty. The location was excellent, walking distance from a subway station and Kyoto station. Highly recommended.
alle vurderinger » K's is an easy, safe walk from the main Kyoto train station, however if I chose to use the bus it is even closer! Using the bus or walking, we can easily reach many popular sites and some of our favorites (which are lesser known) as well. I have stayed with students and found this as ideal location. With friends, this time, it was marvelous!. Everything was first class and catered for everyone, from full back packer to someone looking for a clean room at a very reasonable price! Really enjoyed it here, bar was well priced. Staff were the most helpful we had come across. Absolute Cleanliness, very very friendly staff. The facilities are more than I expected. The best hostel I have stayed in whole of Asia( including some in Japan). Overall this place is amazingly the best!. Very clean, modern and great value for money. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable. Bicycles up for rent and bar/restaurant nearby with affordable drinks and food. City guides available to use. Location is good if it's not raining. It's 10-min-walk from Kyoto station and a few stations away from main shopping area. Living room and kitchen room are good. Rooms small but clean close to communal bathrooms. Kitchen facilities excellent, staff friendly and helpful. Zen cafe had excellent service and cocktails 390 yen. Cosy enviornment, friendly staff and adequate facilities. It will be nice if the mattress is a bit more comfortable but for the price this is a good place. The bedroom is much better than expected. Very suitable for backpackers and hotel fee is reasonable. Hotel staff is very helpful with good English. Super-clean and efficient place to stay. Lounge and rooftop terrace were great, and a real plus. Rental bikes by the hour were a great addition. renting bicycles, friendly service, cultural events such as kaligraphy and origami...plus good location and money value..just perfect. Some days it felt like it took 10 minutes to get down to the bottom floor. Nothing major. Nothing worth mentioning ~!. Nothing. Wifi was sometimes slow. Free wifi throughout hostel though. The number of bathrooms and toilets are a little. If could separate male and female bathroom, it would be more convenient. Though the current setup is also acceptable. Futon (mattress?) in bunk beds not the most comfortable. Quiet policy is enforced, even for "loud" talking within the hotel after 10pm. i don't like nothing. Sound proofing is not so good. Could hear snoring sounds from next room. Believe it. But you can get a beer at the bistro to get you in a mood to sleep =). nothing especially. Nothing. room space, no table top or shelf for putting of things, only narrow walkway for 4 beds family room. smell in the room, kind of dump cellar smell. The room is very small and not many toilets. It also has few facilities. The toilets and bathrooms are not clean enough maybe due to the overflowing of guests. Price for single rooms is not really reasonable on the condition that there is no en suite bathroom. The simple utilities and public shower rooms doesn't fit me well, it took me longer time to find the hostel. Two stops from KYOTO Station.
