  We had a 1 month trip around Japan :- Tokyo(Asakusa), Tokyo(Yokahama), a cruise, Kyoto, hiroshima, Osaka & back via Helsinki. Throughout Japan we were impressed by the politeness, friendliness & cleanliness & we are sure all hotels at all levels meet the same standards. Metro stations next to the hotel & easy access to th - We spent one night at this hotel. Great location - close to the A-bomb dome and Peace Park, Hiroshima Castle and shops. Staff were so friendly and efficient. I asked for a room high up with a view of the castle (and got it). Corner room with 270 degree views. It was magic and the room was spacious compared to anything else we had stayed at in Japan. We didn't eat at the hotel - but found places close by for dinner and breakfast.

  Loved this hotel! It is super close to the Peace Memorial Park and just down the road (3 min walk) from the A-Dome, which is only a 100 yen tram ride away from the train station. Excellent location and very easy to find. The staff were very helpful and gave us a very handy English map of the area when we checked in. Modern facilities in common areas and somewhat retro (but functioning really well) in the rooms. Large bathrooms, ok sized rooms, we got the room with the view to the peace park and the river. Free wireless internet.

  The Grand Prince Hiroshima is definitely a mixed bag. The rooms offer breathtaking views, the onsen is very chilled out and nice, and there's a ferry directly to Miyajima (one of the very best days we spent in Japan was on that lovely island).   The hotel is located in great area,only 5-7 minutes walking to the peace dome garden and about 3 stops on the streetcar from the center of hiroshima. There were enough stores and restaurants in the area. The hotel provides a kitchen with microwave,fridge,hot water and dishes. The staff was kind and spoke enough english.   The staff were very accommodating when we needed to store our bags before and after we checked in/out. The views from our rooms were staggering for the price. The location was excellent. A very short walk to the Peace Park, museum and attractions such as the castle and art gallery.
