  Lovely place to stay to experience a traditional Japanese style hotel. Fantastic views of the lake from our room and of Mount Fuji from the roof garden. The lady who looked after us and served our meals in our room was very polite and helpful, even explaining how to wear the cotton kimono provided by the hotel. It was a nice touch to have the sa... hva folk sier » me person looking after us for the whole stay. - Everything is perfect in this hotel. The staff called "maiyumi" was so helpful during our stay, being able to introduce the facilities and foods in simple English. The dinner and breakfast are excellent, location is good and they can arrange free transport between train station and hotel. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting the place.

  This is a very special ryokan. It gaves us the feeling of a real Japanese hosting - The onsen, the Kaiseky meals and the whole atmosphere. The staff was great and kind, the rooms were beautiful and clean, and the private onsen is a treat! The kaiseky meal is not for everyone, because there are a lot of special dishes that not everyone likes, but y... hva folk sier » ou should try. The location is very near to the lake so you can enjoy the town main attractions, and it's 20 minutes walk from the station. There's - The dinner and breakfast was top-notch. The service was exemplary. The private onsen just outside the room is pure enjoyment. Location isn't right next to Kawaguchiko lake or facing Mt Fuji, but walking to the lake takes only 5 min. The ryokan also has complementary service to bring you to & fro Kawaguchiko train station.

  Wonderful hotel. Tricky to find and a steep ascent, but we were then rewarded with a superb view over the bay. Staff were attentive and yet unobtrusive. Decor was tasteful and the room spotless.   Mount Fuji view from the ryokan was simply stunning! The weather was good when we checked in n we have the most amazing view from the room. We also managed to take some great photos of the mountain from the lakeside in front of the hotel.   Everything here is 5 star. Was there for our honeymoon. Little tip - once you reach kawaguchiko station, look for the tourist information centre.
