We chose the hotel for its good connection to Narita Airport Access Line for our last days in Japan. Kurama Station is only a few minutes away. The staff was extremely friendly and supportive. It was our first night in Japan. The room and bed was very small. But it was nice and clean. It is a standard business hotel, like you find everywhere. The restaurant was very nice. It was close to Asakusa Station. The temple and market is in 10 min walking distance. Good train connection to explore the city. The area can be a bit quiet in the evening.

Nice big comfortable newly renovated rooms. We booked a room for triple occupancy. The room 1869 was really huge for Japan standard. We had a nice view too. Room was spotlessly clean and location was really central. Lots of cafe, restaurants and convinience stores nearby. Staff was really helpful. Convenient as free shuttle to Disneyland was provided and tours can be booked in the lobby.

This was an interesting experience staying at this place and would recommend it to open minded travellers visiting the city. Good location within 10 minutes walking distance of Shinjuku station.

10/10 for novelty value, but more than that, this was a very comfortable night's sleep. You can even have your underwear laundered and ready to collect in the morning, or buy new ones plus a shirt and tie from reception. English instruction leaflet was provided and the staff were very friendly, so the atmosphere was more relaxed than I'd expected. There isn't a speck of dirt anywhere - you leave shoes on entry and wear shorts and top which are provided - rest of your clothes go in your pers

Although rooms a little bit small, but very clean and comfortable with wifi. Central location, only 5 min walk from Metro station, and easy to reach Senso-ji, Tokyo sky tree, there were also a lot of lovely small restaurants and 7-11 absolutely convenient. Staff speaks English and very friendly, by the way, hotel offers warm and tasty breakfast. -

staff were very nice although English was not very good but commuication wise was ok. Hotel also offer Japanise style breakfast, simple but nice.
Room and bathroom was small like almost all this kind of hotels in Japan, but clean.

Considering we were on a 3 week trip to Japan and that we visited many
hotels and hostels during its span, I have to say that Tokyo Ueno Youth
Hostel had the friendliest and most helpful staff we have come across.

Hotel is very clean and there were complimentary toiletries that are beyond the usual (i.e. toothbrush, razor w/shaving cream, hair brush, washing cloths). What can I say but... this hotel is simply fantastic!
Staff are friendly and efficient. The room is spacious and lavishly clean.
