  The proprietor stayed up late (close to midnight) for us because our plane arrived around 10:15 P.M. I had sent an email to him letting him know about our late arrival.   Like all the hotels we stayed at in Japan, the Prince Sakura Hotel had exceptional service. What made this hotel stand out was the size of our room. We had 3 adults staying in one room and it easily accommodated all of us, as well as had room for a sitting area (third bed was a pull out couch). There is also a nice g - The hotel is clean , safe, nice view, comfort with very helpful staff. They have tried their best to help us about our problems 24 hr. This is a luxury hotel , easy to access and relaxing . After a long day of traveling around , you can relax in a jaguzzi with warm and flower bath salt. The staff professionally help me ship parcels to the next hotel in Osaka. The shuttle bus from Shinagawa station is also helpful. This hotel is much better than excellent.

It was a 10 min walk from the Shinagawa station on JR line providing easy access to the city areas like Harujuku,Tokyo Station, Shinjuku without the hassle of changing to another Metro line. Staff was wonderful, spoke excellent English which was a relief for us as we are very limited in our Japanese. Very, very clean & very comfortable beds. Buffet breakfast at the Patio was delicious and featured both Western & Japanese food. Super easy access to all of Tokyo as the Shinagawa station is just a 5 minute walk, across the street from the hotel. So very easy to catch the Narita Express for our trip home to the usa.

  The staff were wonderful. Although they didn't speak much English, they are ver attentive to our needs. We arrived soaking wet with the typhoon Francisco. The receptionist promptly asked (with hand gestures), if we would like to borrow their big black umbrellas. The breakfast was wonderful.
