B&B Carmen is set on the third floor of a residential building, located in a peaceful area just 1 km from Juliet’s Balcony. It offers free Wi-Fi throughout, and spacious air-conditioned rooms.
All rooms are comfortable and modern, individually decorated. Each is fitted with parquet flooring and features original paintings. Rooms are provided with towels and a flat-screen TV, while in the shared bathroom you can find a hairdryer and toiletries.
Breakfast at the Carmen B&B is continental, offering a variety of sweet and savoury products plus Nespresso coffee. In the winter it is served in the dining room and in the summer in the terrace, equipped with tables and chairs.
Verona Porta Nuova Train Station is less than a 10-minute walk from the property. Verona Villafranca Airport can be reached in 15 minutes by car.

the room was lovely.. spacious and nicely decorated. the shared bathroom was big and also very nice and clean. breakfast is simply but ok.. you are like in a flat. we were always alone. 3 min walk to the center/amphitheatre. parking just next door. we come again!.
Location near the railway station. Room was big and stylish. European breakfast can be nice change from Italian breakfast served usually in other hotels. Sharing bathroom with 2 other rooms was not a problem and bathroom was clean. Owner is friendly and helpful.alle vurderinger »
Staff very disorganised, with poor English. Even though I have basics of Italian, it was very difficult to get the room I reserved and confirmed per e-mail. Location very convenient both concerning the arrival and all the major sights.
+ Super location. Right in between city center and central train station.

- Upon late arrival, it was not easy to get in, not intuitive (no door bell but only possibility to enter code, whicht of course we didn`t have).
No air-conditioning in the room itself - just a fan, air-conditioning in the hallway, wifi connection was in and out.
The staff is not always at the reception desk, sometimes it is hard to find them.
Nothing - it was great.
When we arrived there was no one who spoke English which made it hard to check in.
Once the other lady arrived everything wa sorted :).
This is my second time to stay at B&B Carmen. I was so dissapointed for this time for the following issues:
. We waited at the door for 10 minutes although we arrived in the middle of the day
. There were so much noise by the hosts during the night (probably their friends were invited)
. Our room door was opened three times without knocking by some people.
Actually they haven't give us the room we've booked. Seemed like
they didn't wait for us and when we've come they told us (better
to say show us - because they didn't speak English at all) that the
bed in our room is broken and they started to search another
accommodation for us. As I had only few hours for Verona I was totally
disappointed to spend an hour and a half while they were searching the
room from another B&B.
