  The staff there was attentive and extremely helpful. They carried our bags up the stairs (yes, stairs, no elevator), but what do you expect for a smaller and quiet little nest out in the heart of Venice. Wifi is free and its fast!!! There's a few floors but with only a few rooms, meaning its not loud; you can sleep in peace, and quiet. Go explore:) - The apartment is huge and the owner was so friendly and helpful. The apartment is marketed for 4 people but could easily sleep 6. Also it was only a few minutes walk from the bus terminal. Not the most stylish of places but it was clean and spacious.

  We were positively surprised how the staff is friendly and make all guests feel like in their own home. We were specially amused by the restaurant team: the waiter is always smiling and playing around with guests (of course, always keeping respect) and the kitchen chef, Federico, even not speaking english, he does his best to communicate with gues... hva folk sier » ts and is always gifting awesome foods. Certainly, as we had the chance to tell them, Il Lato Azurro was the best place we stayed in our trip (which i - - The staff was really nice - The Location was charming! I loved the quitness of the island. - The breakfast is quite sober but good enough for us! - Keep in mind that you will have to travel with a vaperetto (waterbus) from venice to a seperate island! Trip will take 20 minutes and than you will have to walk for 15 minutes (or make an appointment with the hotel for a free shuttle service! The walk is nice so we didn't use this service). - Don't expect luxury, just a place to sleep!

  We loved that it was so easy to get to and from the Realto Bridge for arrivals and departures and for additional day trips... It was wonderful to be able to walk to and fro to San Marco's Square and despite the close proximity, the price was very reasonable. The hotel was spotless and breakfast plenty and delicious. They provided locked up baggage servic - The staff could not do enough for us and treated us like silk worms. Nothing was a problem. Directions, hints, tips and must see all explained thoroughly. I was nervous about getting from the airport on our own, but the directions were very clear and the hotel easy to find. The location was perfect between the Rialto and St Marco square-we couldn't have picked better! Very impressed with how friendly the staff are and how welcomed we felt. However I was a little disappointed that my room did not have a view overlooking the canal as that was one of the key points that attracted me to staying there. - nice hotel, great location, very friendly and helpful staff
