The location is perfect. The staff, especially main guy (goatee guy), were v. helpful and friendly. They arranged our gondola ride and answered our questions fully. - The staff was really nice
- The Location was charming! I loved the quitness of the island.
- The breakfast is quite sober but good enough for us!
- Keep in mind that you will have to travel with a vaperetto (waterbus) from venice to a seperate island! Trip will take 20 minutes and than you will have to walk for 15 minutes (or make an appointment with the hotel for a free shuttle service! The walk is nice so we didn't use this service).
- Don't expect luxury, just a place to sleep!

Nice location, just besides the water bus stop.The streets in Venice are so complicated that makes you easy to get lost, but the Pensione Guerrato is very easy to find. The staff are very kind, rooms are clean. We live in the top floor and from the window there you can see the bell tower in St. Marco square. There is also a fruits market downstair

Our room was at the Biasin side, first floor with great views on the bridge and canal. Newly renovated bathroom, spacious 3 pers. room. Wifi worked in the room too (above the lobby). Room cleaned every day, my 3 yr old could stay with us for free, but did get her own towels etc. Good value for your money. -

Very comfortable beds with lights that don't disturb others. Quite cheap, good breakfast for additional price.
It was a half-populated 16 person dorm, but it was comfortable to stay there.
It is on a separate island from the city center, but public transport is working all the night so it's not a problem.

We recently enjoyed a 2 night stay at Hotel Casa Boccassini for our honeymoon. The hotel is tucked away and we did have to look hard to find it however if you do your research beforehand it will be easy to locate. Cheap for Venice but still well over 100 euros per night. Cean
comfortable and with lovely garden giving friendly homely feel. In a
quieter part of Venice which is a huge plus after battling through the
crowds around Rialto and St Marks square. Still only a few minutes walk
from centre so why pay more for a slightly more central location?
Receptionist didn't speak English but extremely helpful, friendly
and polite. Breakfast in garden was not the most generous but in a
delightful setting.

Location within Venice was great, less than 5 min walk to Rialto Bridge.
Room was a great size, with instantly hot shower - have heard that in
Venice you can get both a small room and bad water pressure but no
issues on this side. Staff very helpful, we got to check in early as the
room was ready and they kept our bags safe on the last day until late at
night. Also ate in the restaurant which was good food, staff here more
than helpful as the terrace flooded during high tide and they piggy
back

The place is easy to find and easy to go to everywhere.
The single room is big enough for one person and is clean. They make it clean everyday.
Even though it is shared bathroom I found it not very busily used so I don't have to wait for long. But you need bring your own shampoo and showering gel.

It's nice that it is close to st mark's square. Breakfast was good. Josie in the breakfast room was very nice and attentive to our needs. The front desk clerks were very helpful. Rooms were clean. I will stay here again.
