This is a great place to stay. It was very easy to get to and has a beautiful view of Venice. Giudecca is very peaceful, which provides a nice break from the crowds. The hotel staff was very polite and extremely helpful. The hotel room is spacious and grand, quite medieval venetian style. The hotel gardens and the surroundings are fascinating for an early morning stroll. Do eat in the hotel even though it's expensive as their executive chef menu is something to behold. Staff is excellent, always ready to please and help. Michelle speaks perfect English. Location is perfect. Although it is not on a canal, it's only 20 seconds walk to Grand Canal, 30 min leisuer walk to St. Marco's Squre, and 10 min walk to St. Lucia Train Station which is very convenient to us as we were travelling by train.

Small hotel but beautifully presented. Our room had a real baroque feeling which delighted my 16 year old daughter. The location was outstanding. Our room overlooked a canal and watching the gondoliers passing was an added bonus. It is 5 minutes from st Marks Square so it was so easy to see the amazing sites there but was also very peaceful. The staff were friendly and helpful. I loved sitting on the little boat landing with my book and drink after a day sightseeing.

We stayed at the Three Bedroom Apartment San Marco, fantastic location. Only about 150 metres up a walk way from Rialto Water Bus Stop, which is also a stop for the airport boat. A short 5 min walk into San Marco Square. Close to supermarket and nice little coffee shops. Very large apartment with lots of room for us - 2 adults and 3 kids.
