Our room was at the Biasin side, first floor with great views on the bridge and canal. Newly renovated bathroom, spacious 3 pers. room. Wifi worked in the room too (above the lobby). Room cleaned every day, my 3 yr old could stay with us for free, but did get her own towels etc. Good value for your money. -

The location of this hotel was superb, only minutes from St Mark's Square. It was very clean overall and the room was very nicely decorated, very comfortable and very quiet. The location was excellent as expected however the staff at the front desk were extremely helpful...this was somewhat surprising after reading some poor reviews but very very welcome. - The Hotel was easily accessible from the Waterbus stop and near restaurants and bars. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Absolutely brilliant location if arriving by train to Venezia's Santa Lucia station. Less than five minutes leisurely walk with luggage.
When you come out of the station the Grand Canal is in front of you, turn left and as you reach the bridge (which will be on your right) vier left and the hotel entrance is on your left in a few seconds.

-True Venice experience! The hotel is located on one of the small canals, so finding the hotel was an adventour in itself. Its entrance is located on a small side street and you walk through the ground floor of the building (past the canal boat entrance) to get to the rooms. It felt like we were staying in a Venice residence instead of a hotel.

Locanda Ca Del Console is in a very good location between the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square. It isn't easy to find, but use the directions on the website along with a map and you'll figure it out eventually. The staff is very friendly, which is a big plus. We made the reservation at the last minute so we didn't have many choices. The room was big. The decor was a little strange. The breakfast was fine. Did I mention the staff is very friendly? That was the biggest plus.
