very friendly staff; very modern and comfortable; clean; the entering into the hotel without reception by using mail or message instructions was a bit curious at the beginning but turned out very easy and useful afterwards - that just should be pointed out at the hotel description to be prepaired... -

Hotel Victoria turned out to be a true 4-star hotel in a convenient location around the center of Trieste.
The staff was most professional and attentive, not to mention fully fluent in English.
The breakfast, although served in a buffet style, was lavish and tasteful like I never experienced at any other hotel. A major plus.

We were travelling for our wedding anniversary and on arrival learned we had been upgraded to a suite - fantastic!! The staff were extremely helpful, directing us to parking (with a special hotel rate), recommending and booking a restaurant for our anniversary dinner (which was excellent) and even chilling a bottle of wine we'd brought with us. The room was amazing, clean and luxurious, and the breakfast was excellent. Highly, highly recommended.

Everything. Trieste is a beautiful town and this is a beautiful place. The room I had was large, thoughtfully decorated and extremely comfortable. The location was brilliant, the staff were lovely, breakfast was beautiful and featured local produce, there's a crazy lovely naughty puppy dog who was great, it's across the road from a lovely osteria called Marise (go!)... I would love to stay in this place forever. I wish all hotels were like this.

The couple that ran the place were really lovely and hospitable. The location is brilliant - very near centre (5-10 min walk) and right opposite a nice cafe / bakery serving bread, pastries and coffee, that is open 24 hours! Also it's really cheap to stay here. -

Currently the best of all in Trieste which I have. The only catch is
that is that this is true if you have the car. And if you make a
reservation in low season. Then one have the full cost - benefit.
Distance to the famous Piazza Unita is about 15 minutes by car. And
hotel. Luxuriously furnished, (Flos table lamps in the restaurant) palm

This was a great place to just chill out. A lovely, quiet sunbathing area with direct access to the sea. The room was very comfortable and had air conditioning. Also the restaurant had lovely food and wine.

The location was excellent. Right in the center, a 5 minute walk from the main square and the various cafes and bars.
The room we had was very large. It had a kitchenette and a small balcony. Perfect for anyone planning an extended stay.
The bed was large comfortable.
Trieste: The Positive side to my "negative" "Trieste": Not being very "touristy" - one definitely gets to enjoy things as one might do if one was a resident.
