This was an excellent choice on a research trip to University. Fantasic atmosphere on the Thursday night when I arrived as new Pope had been installed and church bells were ringing. English-speaking waiter was very helpful both at excellent dinner and following lunch. Lovely balcony overlooking beautiful city outside roomy all mod-con bedroom. -

It is a very good place to stay. Though it is a bit far from the city there are frequent buses which takes you to this place. The staffs were very friendly. Perfect for us to stay one night on our journey to south Italy. Near highway but not too close, cosy, clean, quiet and with parking. Hotel restaurant was closed for dinner, but it was possible to eat in pizzeria connected to this hotel. In the morning, there was a nice view at mountains from our windows.

The hotel was in a good location for travellers with a car. A short walk (downhill) into the centre if no car, but need taxi back up! Very well maintained and our room was beautifully furnished, comfortable and clean. The host was extremely friendly and welcoming. This was the best hotel (of 4) during our stay in Northern Italy. This is not just a room, but a flat with all facilities inside such as separate kitchen and bathroom, all organized in lovely country style, very clean and bright, you feel like you're in your own country house. For breakfast there is smorgasbord, very fresh and pleasant food.

The staff was brilliant. Good knowledge of the sights around and not afraid to offer good recommendations from their own experience. When we needed to leave our bags and they needed to close, they found us an excellent alternative arrangement with no hassle. The breakfast was excellent too. -

I just loved this hotel. Its location is impressive on a steep hillside with views to match. Well worth the trouble of finding. Access is easy once you know how it works and the restaurant at the bottom of the hill was first class. -

I have booked the room to share with a friend and I found it great that each bed was divided by a door (which gave us a lot of privacy) and each part of the room had its own sink. Very clean, the best possible location in town (you are literally in Piazza Duomo) and you can feel it's a family business. Great value for money. -

Nice place - great spacious bedroom in the loft. Great location in terms of proximity to train station, town centre, features in town, access to the river and the mountains etc. Terrific breakfasts as well. -
