The apartment that we had had two double rooms, a shared bathroom (with shower rather than bath) and a well fitted kitchen/diner. The diner had a gas hob, oven, fridge/freezer and a washing machine - all of high quality. Only one of the bedrooms had a window with a view - the other rooms had remotely controlled velux windows in the sloping ceilings. Underfloor heating plus three medium sized air conditioning units. Hot water in abundance. A well located, well equipped and well looked after apar.
alle vurderinger » We enjoyed everything at the apartment, the view was amazing and the apartment was well equipped and very clean. We were welcomed by Roberta, a colleague to Ennio, who was SO nice and wonderful. She had stayed up way after midnight to let us in, and she was so kind a funny to talk to. The steps up to the place is of course hard, but what do you expect when renting a place on 4th floor – just enjoy the old building! Siena is great – we have now been there 9 times and will continue to return to t. Wonderful location! Easy to reach if you arrive by train (should go upstairs by elevator from railwaystation, turn on the left and go straight for approximately 15 minutes). Quite big appartments with nice kitchen and living room. Appartments are on the fourth floor, but stairs are wide enough. Especially friendly owner Ennio, who will help you all of what he can! Ask him about restaurants and supermarkets. We've been in Siena during Palio and that was an amazing experience!. Very reasonable price, fantastic views across Siena, very comfortable apartment, lots of ambiance, a great place to relax and soak up Siena. The children loved the loft bedroom (and having their own bathroom) and the master bedroom is spacious and elegant. Kitchen is well enough equipped (and yes there is a kettle!). The stairs were no problem - wide and shallow, and added to the ambiance of the place. Everything was wonderful here. From the location - inside the old walls of Siena - in this 15thC bldg. Two loft bedrooms, modern kitchen, marble bathroom to the restaurants, shops and Piazza del Campo all within a short, beautiful walkingdistance outside the big wooden front door in charming, quaint, Siena. Would definitely go back to this apartment! Loved it there. Everything ... Ennio (manager), Siena, sightseeing, shopping, restaurants, pizza, convenient location, gelato, people and even the stairs after some practice and realizing that the reward for climbing them was a fantastic view. Excellent apartment in a good location and value for money. Quiet at night, slept really well. Well appointed kitchen for cooking, w/machine and dryer. Shutters make for great sleep. Ennio very helpful. Good wifi. Good shower. Would recommend highly. the location close to the center, but not exactly in the middle of the most crowed part of the city the top level of the building with a beautiful view the large space within the flat, with a mezzanine two bathrooms. The apartment was modern and a perfect size for our 3 night stay in Siena. Roberta gave us some fantastic tips on where to eat and drink in Siena that really made our stay!. Ennio, who met us with keys was delightful friendly and helpful and available when necessary. The flat was in a good position, slept 4 and very reasonably priced. It is an apartment and you must have your necessities. Everything was in good shape, and a great view is your reward. The location is perfect!. It is a very nice apartment. We liked it all, especially the location. Central location excellent. Comfortable beds. Good air conditioning. Location was great. For Brits, a kettle and teapot would have been good, and a microwave would have been helpful. The rc units for the windows needed batteries and working out how to use them caused us a little entertainment. Given that everything else was so good, these are very minor quibbles. What's not to like? Heating was slightly complex (turned out to be underfloor, so not very instant), and hot water slightly limited but no real problem if you are organised. Owner was at the end of the phone to deal with any issues. The living room could use some better/additional furniture. A tiny leather sofa that seats only one person and one leather chair made it difficult for more than two people to sit. This furniture was also quite hard and uncomfortable, and more what you would find in a waiting room and not a place to read or relax after a long day of touring. But this is a small point and not to take away from all the excellent features and location of this delightful appartamenti in gorgeous Siena. The first time up the stairs was a challenge, but once we realized that being so high up provided a fantastic view and "guilt-free gelato", we eventually grew to like the stairs too. Four flights of stairs but worth it. Good exercise. Nothing. It wouldn't suit someone who cant climb a big staircase. But for us it was faultless. nothing, it was perfect. The stairs .... About 100 were a challenge with heavy suitcases.... The steps are a challenge,and the offer to help with luggage came from a young lady so we managed ourselves. How to use the washer was a never discovered to use it efficiently. There is no lift so going up and down with the stairs could be a problem. But in our case it was fine. Kitchen equipment fairly basic if self catering. Not a problem if eating out. Too many stairs not good for the unfit or older people. Parking further than the 200m specified. Apartment dusty and fridge not defrosted.
