Offering a summer swimming pool and pizzeria restaurant, Borgo di Santa Barbara is 1 km from Riaci Beach. It is located in Santa Domenica, 2 km outside Tropea. With balconies and sea views, the rooms are air conditioned and feature a TV and en suite bathroom. Croissants, homemade bread and local cheeses are included in the breakfast buffet each morning. Calabrian specialities and homemade desserts are served at dinner. Borgo di Santa Barbara has sun loungers and parasols around the pool, which is open from April until the end of October. Free parking is provided and a shuttle to the beach or Tropea is available on request.

Everything at the Borgo di Santa Barbara was perfect. We stayed here for two weeks in June and felt so smitten to have found it. The grounds and building are beautiful. All have air con, fridges and sea views as does the pool which was gorgeous. The rooms are spacious, extremely clean and well furnished. The restaurant serves delicious Italian cuisine and is popular amongst locals as well as with guests. Martina and her family really make this place though. They are helpful, friendly and attent.
