We stayed with Our fabulous hosts Gaetano and Guisy at Villa De Giardini for 3 nights. The B&B was great. The location is actually San Leone which is by the sea. The house is approximately a 6 minute drive to the Valley of he Temples. Gaetano and Giusy were very welcoming and wonderful hosts. Guisy prepares breakfast every morning with fresh home made bread and eggs cooked to your liking. The location is great, however we highly recommend having a car. You are unable to walk down to the .

Clean, comfortable room and friendly, helpful hosts. We also had a private balcony which was nice. Great breakfast with freshly baked goodies, cheese, fruit etc. We enjoyed our one night stay here and it was easy to get back on the highway for Siracusa the next day. Driving by car, this is a very convenient location when you do not want to drive into the nearby Agrigento. Nice location in quiet villa surroundings, rather close to the sea. A welcoming host with a daughter who speaks excellent English. Good restaurants down in the seaside resort of San Leone. Ideal location for visitig Agregento and the coast side. The hosts are very friendly and do everything to make you feel at home. The lady of the house offered self-made pancakes (crepes), cake and cookies at breakfast. Delicious! A very nice selection of local bread, cheese and fruits. The host was very friendly and tried to help us to find our way around Agrigento. The breakfast was quite good, featuring a unforgettable home-made apple cake. Easy to get into the main road (SS115), so it was painless to get to Agrigento and do day trips around the region. Hotel staff were very nice and friendly. We especially liked the rooms and the gardens around the hotel. It was a lovely stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who intends to visit Agrigento. The location was perfect for visiting the Valley of the Temples. The onsite parking was handy and the driveway is not as treacherous as others have commented. We had a very good breakfast. Private parking is safe and convenient. hosts were very welcoming and friendly lovely gardens was able to practise my Italian. Easy to find, good breakfast, friendly staff, really nice house. Hospitality of the owner was great even though we couldn't speak Italian we were able to communicate and if we had trouble the owners daughter who spoke English was only a phone call away. Lovely setting, beautiful gardens with olive trees. Breakfast was substantial a real country Sicilian breakfast! The only downside was the property was on the bend of a road which made it very tricky getting in and out of the driveway in a car. Otherwise a very pleasant stay. nearness to historic sites. The location, the beautiful garden, it was clean. Hosts do not speak English. Thankfully we spoke Italian. If you don't speak any Italian you may find this difficult. The Wifi is FREE but not very good. We were unable to connect in our room and only out on the breakfast patio. Nothing about the B & B. It was very nice. San Leone is not a particularly scenic town but it does have a beach and our priority was to not be in the city so it was a good location for us. San Leone - which is where the closest beaches are - is a quite dreary, ugly, overbuilt beach holiday resort town which gave me the feeling that I was stepping into the "bad part of the town". I'd recommend fellow travellers to avoid it if possible. Room is on the smallish size and bathroom (private) is across the hall, as advertised. English is not spoken much, not necessarily a negative. I can't find any faults with this B&B. The internet only worked on the verandah, wasn't a problem for us but others might not be happy. Room and breakfast is basic. not a lot of choice for breakfast. Not really close to beach and restaurants, staff could speak english. The place was all very basic (facilities, breakfeast). Location was far from beach and nearest city Agrigento. The moderate price though offers a good compensation. The room was a bit small, and we had been the feeling that the owner do that mainly for business before getting in contact with other. ( could be due to the fact that they only speak Italian).
