Good location not too far from the city centre or the Termini Station with an excellent selection of Restaurants, Cafes and other services (ie.   Casa San Giuseppe is centrally located to everything in Rome, especially the Ponte Sisto, which is a great nighttime hangout with Romans. Because it is on the Trastevere side of Rome, the neighborhood is quiet. This hotel has the best blackout shades I have ever seen in my life, so you have absolutely no idea that it is morning! The staff was extremely nice and helpful, providing us with an extra converter each night and reserving a cab at 5 am on the morning of our depar - We had a rent car, and was fortunate to get a space just in a little alley right in front of the entrance. Trastevere neighbourhood is great, icecream shops, and ristorante and trattorias just around the corner. In walking distance to all major "must see" tourist attractions. For italian standard, the breakfast is very good. Our 3 person room was very spacious, but the furniture and bathroom is some what dated and worn. All in all very good value for money.

  Great service and friendly people: they helped us find a supermarket so we didn't have to pay €2 for half a liter of water in the city, they brought us showergel because we forgot to bring our own and they showed us some nice restaurants. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect: within a few minutes walk of Vaticancity and the Vatican muse... hva folk sier » ums. Restaurants are right around the corner. The room was clean, the breakfast simple but with a lots of fruit of whitch we took the appels and banan - They e-mailed us 1 day earlier to check on our arrival time and they were extra kind and helpful. It is located at a 1885 constructed building which gives you the era of the town (when in Rome try to live like Romans do). The rooms are in a big appartment converted to hotel on the 1st floor at a very nice area next to Vatican City (2 blocks walk) and the Ottaviano Metro Station (1 block). The room is clean and has all you may need for a city trip.
