The location is great--right next to Villa Borghese, a huge park where you can run, walk, ride bicycles (for rent), and cool off in the summer (there are museums and a zoo as well).   I had a very pleasant stay at Caligola resort and hereby recommend it to everyone! The location is just great, nearby to Trastevere. Room was perfect, with a good bed and bathroom, big TV and nice balcony. Everything was cleaned daily. Roberto, the owner and his daughter and son are very friendly and helpful.   It was my husband's and my first trip to Rome. The location to the Vatican n most of the famous sights in Rome was fantastic. It took us 10 mins to walk to meet our tour guide for the St Peter Bacilica and Sistine Chapel tour. We walked everywhere, as it was .very easy and convenient. Jun always smil - Great location - 10 min. walk from Vatican! Subway and other public transport is nearby. Good for car travellers - it's possible to find a parking place in front of the hotel. Great variety of breakfast (we were able to choose what we would like). Big and clean room! Nice view from the window. Gabi and all the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definately recommend this hotel!

  Loved having breakfast delivered to our room at a time that we specified. It was quiet, within walking distance to all major sites and all staff was great but you would be hard pressed to find anyone more helpful than Rosanna. No matter what we inquired about she got us the info and even looked after our bookings, taxi's, restaurants, etc and we c... hva folk sier » an't say enough good things about her. We would definitely stay there again without even looking elsewhere. - This is somewhat a boutique hotel, and not for the budget traveller, but ... what a fantastic location. And the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful with suggestions of what to do and where to go. Giulia (the owner) did a soft sell on me for her custom-made jewelry, and won me over. My wife was very happy with the ear rings. Thanks! Though no tea/coffee making in room, just had to ask and espresso was delivered, gratis. A nice touch.

  We found the Residenza Domiziano a wonderful hotel. They did everything possible to make our stay in Rome a wonderful experience. They arranged for a van to come to where we our cruise ship landed and was plenty big enough for seven pieces of luggage and four passengers.   Quality versus price is more than excellent . I have travelled a lot around the world and it would be great to find these kind of b&b's on my way ! Next time i visit Rome i will reserve a room here again !
