I would describe this hostel as a boutique one as everything was special comparing with other hostels I stayed before. It was good cleaned, comfortable and well-decorated. The price comparing with the quality was just value for money. While searching there was hotels less expensive than this one, but I liked feedbacks from other travelers that the hotel was nice and clean, and choose this hostel as well. And now I know that it was the right choice. Location is good, despite that it's too noisy .
alle vurderinger » The whole hostel is very nice the decor is very modern. The building is a easy 5 min walk from termini station. It's shares a building with other hostels. The area is a little diverse but I never felt unsafe. Internet room with 3 free computers. Vending machines with drinks, snacks, and other items you may need. Big spacious rooms with locker storage, just bring a pad lock. Bathroom was always free it has 3 with showers sinks and toliettes. Kitchen room with microwave and frige also has 2 was. Stayed in an 8 bed dorm and everyone was nice & friendly! The bathrooms were really clean (especially for shared ones!) and the shower was good, never had to wait for a toilet/shower either. The staff are very nice & helpful! It's very close to Termini station (2-3 min walk) which is handy if you're just spending a night there and are arriving from & leaving from Termini. They have lockers in the room to store valuables while you're out (bring your own lock though, otherwise you nee. Perfect Location in the center from Termini , just 5 min. walking , nice hostel and clean , they have lockers in the rooms , free wifi and free 3 computers to use the internet , Laundry , they offers tours and nights parties with other hostels and i joined one of this parties and it's was 20 Euro with free drinks and it was a perfect night. safe place , i lost my mobile there and the one who cleans the room found it and i got it back from the reception . Nice place to stay in . Great Location - about 5 minutes from the train station; about a 15 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain. This was my first time staying in a hostel and was very nervous and they made my stay great. Individual bathroom stalls with shower, sink and toilet. Rooms were spacious with a desk. Lobby area was a great place to get things done without disturbing the roommates. Great place for the price. really nice hostel, clean rooms, area and showers. Staff was friendly and helpful. You can pay by card, but tax is only in cash, electronic key system and you should either have your own locker for wardrobe and buy it in the hostel. 5 euro deposit for a key is required, but is returned upon check-in. Good luggage room and laundry room with a washing mashine and the dryer (4 euro and 4 euro). It is conveniently located near the Termini Station and from the Colosseum. There is a great café about a block away. It is very clean and they have computers set up and they have vending machines. I would stay here again, but I know not to expect a fancy décor like the lobby pictures. Overall its very clean and you'll use it just for that sleeping and showering. Staff is very friendly,give me free map of Rome ,and give me relatively a lot and clear suggestion about where to go in Rome.after check out,they help me make two local phone calls for free. One night I left my wallet in the laundry, fortunately he was walking around checking everything is Ok. So he picked up my wallet and return to me! The most important things for me were how clean it looks and how wonderful the stuffs are. It made me feel like home. Perfect location, "on the right side" of termini (it is not dangerous at all to walk back to the hostel during the night). Termini is not the best area in Rome, but the hostel is located in a safe area, very close to all restaurants whch are open till late at nite. Location is perfect. Very close to Termini station which is center of the city. Hostel is clean, staff is very helpful and kind especially Iban (the guy in the reception) helped me with everything. Great value for the money. Internet connection was ok. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I'd like to make special mention of Iban and the lady (don't know her name) at the front-desk. They went out of their way to make sure guests were well accommodated and enjoyed their stay at Rome. The receptionist was very friendly and the rooms had enough space. The aircondition worked very good and you could sleep well. It's near the termini station so you can go everywhere! They organize parties so it's very nice. Cleanliness of bed and restroom are most important. The staff are beautiful and passionate about what they do. Brand new, good beds - no squeaky bunks, new bathroom not to noisy considering it was an ensuite, good wifi, had links with hostel upstairs for breakfast and tours. Close to train station. I liked the way the employees treat their customers, the rooms and common areas are always clean. This well located near the main season, getting easy access to other parts of the city. It's near the central station but you need to find it with efforts as there are so many streets around, the room is quite big compared with other hostel, I enjoyed my stay here. I hardly could sleep because there was no soft light in the room, and when my roommates came to the room late night they switch-on the bright light. I would recommend the hotel's staff to install some small night lamps. Also every night I was hearing the ring from the door. Every 20 min someone arrived and ringed the door. But if you will take with you ear plugs and night blind fold it will be ok. The middle eastern guy from the hostel hostel was to noisy and made me feel uncomfortable. The air-conditioner didn't really do anything and the room got very hot at times. There's no doona/blanket on the beds, just a sheet - that wasn't a problem for me though as I went in summer & it was really hot. The hostel is located in a pretty dirty, dangerous area. Lots of homeless people sleep outside the station at night. Travelling alone, I felt unsafe there outside, especially at night. Can't really think of anything at the moment. no kitchen, only the fridge and the microwave oven. In the morning the only possibility to drink hot tea is to go upstears to another hostel. The Wi-Fi is poor if you are trying to FaceTime or use an app to call, but its fine for just sending quick messages or mapping. The breakfast is not included and it's not great. (I recommend the café a block away). The pictures of the lobby are accurate but the rooms are very plain, not what I expected after seeing the lobby. One of our roommates snored like a locomotive, but that obviously has nothing to do with the hostel itself :-). Beds can be more comfortable. You need to bring your own locker, otherwise you have to pay 5 € for one. You need to bring your own towels or you can pay 2 € per piece. No dining room. The lobby is not representative of the rooms so don't expect anything fancy. The beds aren't super comfortable. Bathroom floors got particularly dirty throughout the day as the showers & toilets were in one cubicle, lack of powerpoints - only 4 in the room for 8 beds, caused disagreements between guests. The actuall name of the hostel is hostel downtown and we walked blocks cause we were trying to find it!! The address. Although was right ;). The day I checked in I had flown for the last 36 hours from Australia. The guy was sooo slow doing what he had to do. He told me I had booked for one day less than I actually had, etc. stuffed around, meanwhile, I'm needing matchsticks to hold open my eyes. Very frustrating!. Few charge points which meant we were always trying to charge in the shared area plugs. Minor issue in the greater sceme of things. Key card to use for the light was not very handy (esp. When its owner wanted to leave the room); movement detector in the bathroom was switching off very fast. Some roads nearby a little dodgy but felt fine sticking to the ones with restaurants etc. In the beginning of the morning is very noisy. And the beds are not the best for big people. - The neighbourhood maybe not that safe, there are a lot of homeless people who sleep under the walls of the Termini railway station. 1. No kitchen 2. expensive laundry facility 3. not enough power outlets. Would have like kitchen facilities but minor compared to the other pluses!. Bathrooms got messy and smelly quick but that's on the guests. Nothing the staff can really keep up with. There was some weird smell coming from the water of the shower. In the 6-bed dom with private bathroom, although there is a piece of plastic cloth to stop shower from splitting out it's still difficult to keep the wash room dry. But this is totally acceptable and minor apart from all the conveniences. Bathroom floors were filthy, but not particularly the fault of the hostel - bring flip flops. Their "kitchen" was not really kitchen. There was only a fridge and microwave. The light of the room has to be switched on with the room key so it's not comfortable. -nothing! )). They do not provide key for the lockers. I did not know this before I came to the hostel. I think they should inform the people before. Also there is not any supermarket or market close the hostel. There was only one shared bathroom for 6 people, which was very small. Since only one staff works at a time, sometimes you have to wait for ages. Nothing.
