Domus Carmanello is set in the popular shopping and residential district of San Giovanni, 200 metres from San Giovanni Metro Station. It offers a shared kitchen and air-conditioned rooms. Wi-Fi is free throughout. The property is set on the first floor of a residential building with courtyard, dating back to the late 1920s. It has a reception area and a bright dining room, which is open all day and where breakfast is served each morning. Rooms feature an LCD TV and a private bathroom outside the bedroom. You will have a hairdryer, bathrobe and toiletries. Domus Carmanello is surrounded by plenty of shops, cafés and restaurants. It is just 3 metro stops from Termini Train Station and a 5-minute walk from the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano. There are lots of local buses that take you to the Coliseum in 10 minutes.

We were positively surprised when we saw our room, it was much bigger than any ordinary three/four stars hotel, everything was clean, nicely designed. The bathroom is separated from the room, but it's just across the corridor, with everything you need. The breakfast was served in the dining room, with plenty of things to choose and the fridge full if yogurts and dairy products. We were very satisfied to stay there, the Place is quiet, close to colosseum(from Domus Carmanello we walked basically.
alle vurderinger » We arrived late and the owners were fine for us to check in late. They were both very friendly and gave us lots of info and the best ways to get around. The hotel is walking distance from the colosseum and roman forum and is also right next to Saint Giovanni metro for people who would prefer not to walk. On the day we left we were allowed to keep our keys until 3 so that we could leave our bags in the room. Breakfast was self service with plenty of fruit, cakes, yogurts, cereal and juices in th. Alessia and Valerio were outstandingly inviting and friendly, enough so that it stood out even among the already hospitable Italian hostels we stayed at. The location was great for what we needed, it was right next to the metro and wasn't noisy at night. The facilities were excellent with an oversized room, private bathroom, and the best breakfast we had on our trip. For the money, this place is a steal. Domus Carmanello is a great bed and breakfast hotel! Very nice administrators: Alessia and Valerio! Helped a lot to find everything neccessary. Very large and tasty breakfats: coffee, toats, cruasans, jogurts, fruits. We had a very tidy and big room, the place is in 10-15 minutes walk from Colosseo! We enjoyed our stay in Domus very much!. Very good place in Courteous enjoyableome, big closed yard, actually its three rooms flat with three bathrooms and one kitchen witch is full of snaks. Rooms are much bigger than in 3* hotels, big double bed and two small beds (it can be used for kids up to 5-7 years). The owners are very courteous and enjoyable. Our hosts were very friendly and provided lots of useful information. Excellent location near metro and sights. Safe neighbourhood. Good room size and nice shared "kitchenette". Excellent communication. Recommended!. We were very afraid cause it was first time in bb and we didnt know for what to wait , but the place was wonderful. Nice location , big room , nice kitchen with croisants and yougorts and wonderful very helpful owners. Alessia & Valerio were so helpful & gave us great advice, including restaurant recommendations and sight-seeing tips. Our room was very spacious and overall, the accommodation is very nice & homely. The location is excellent (2 min walking from a metro station) and the owners are very cool and ready to help. Room and bathroom are extremely clean too! I would definitively stay here again!. Lovely welcome - provided lots of information both about the B&B and the area. Room large and airy. Plenty of food for breakfast. Room was clean, comfortable, stylish, and in a location that was accessible to the Metro. Location is good. Staff is very kind and nice!. Everything was perfect! Much better than we expected!. A Lottery with a public parking place for car. Tea spoons is needed in the kitchen, because its impossible to eat yougurt or any deserts from creams with plastic sticks. A bit tricky to find. The bathroom is private but outside the room. But this was not a big problem for me. Minor, but did not have a refrigerator in the room.
