We had the Colosseo room, the red room as you can see in the pictures
provided. Very clean! Fresh! Everything is brand new! Really large
double bed, the best pillows! 3Set towels each, large,medium and small,
perfect for us. You've also got air con which we used as a heater in
the month of March, and flat screen tv too a kettle, teabags, sugar, and
bowl or mixed sweets provided on arrival and the lady here gave us
bottled water which was perfect! Plenty of cupboard space to unpack and

The location of the hotel was fabulous,easy access to two underground
stations and a few minites walk to the vatican city as well as several
very good bus routes from outside the hotel. The room was very
comfortable and a honour bar system was in place for drinks, the
bathroom was fabulous and there was tea and coffee making facilities in
the room. Breakfast was simple but adequate and we were offered an early
breakfast outside our room on the morning we left early.The owners were
lovely,two sp.
We really enjoyed our stay at Cest la vie! The rooms are sweet, nice and
clean, you will find anything there that you need on a city trip. The
hosts are such nice people and put a lot of effort into every detail.It
was my third time in Rome and this was definitly the best place I have
stayed in. Breakfast is traditionally Italian, which means really sweet,
and you get a freshly brewed coffee. All in all I absolutly recommend
this place. (Just an advise: walls are pretty thin, so bring your
earp.
We arrived at 6 february at C'est La Vie Rooms, and we're
welcomed by the two friendly owners of this hotel. The breakfast was
simple, as described and expected, yoghurt, croissant & some cakes.
Room was clean, beautiful, new and smelled very fresh. Same goes for the
bathroom, with a lovely shower. Also the location is very convenient,
close enough to go to the Vatican by foot and 800m from the Metro
station which brings you to Piazza di Popolo in only 2 stops.
A bed and breakfast can be made or ruined by the service of the hosts... at C'est La Vie, they are top notch!!! Very welcoming and helpful, we arrived late and they were there with smiles on their faces. Rooms are very clean and modern. Breakfast was wonderful with fresh croissants. About a 10 minute walk to the Vatican Museum and the closest Metro stop. Also A/C which is tough to come by, and very quiet at night even with the windows open.
The hotel is great! It is not very large, it's cosy, very quiet and comfortable... It is situated in a very beautiful district of Rome, near Vatican. The hotel is very good for peolple who appreciate home comfort. Modern equipment, stylish hall and rooms, the owners of the hotel are always glad to help their guests. I miss this place and these people very much!.
We were impressed with the hospitality while staying at C'Est La Vie. The location was a short walk to the Vatican and to the Metro for further exploration of Rome. The room was spotless and recently remodeled. When we return to Rome, we not hesitate to make a return visit to C'Est La Vie Rooms.
Location very good, walking distance to St Peters etc.. great accomodation excellant hosts, nothing too much trouble. lovely room and bathroom, plenty of fresh towels etc. breakfast adequate, ceral pastries etc.. very good value for money. All the rooms were different and very nice.
The staff, Amalia, was very accommodating and friendly. I really liked
the citrus-y smell in the dining area, and there were Italian chocolates
in a jar always available. I snacked on those a lot. The room was clean
and looked new.
We stayed in C'Est La Vie Rooms for 2 days; brand new apartments with AC in the center of Rome, very clean; owners were very friendly and helpful. The place was beyond expectations!.
Very well decorated room , though small. Very friendly people, very good guidance for restaurants and tourist places was provided.
The rooms are very good! The showers is great! Is weel located because is near from metro station and near Vatican.

Because the breakfast area is outside all of the rooms you can hear
people up and about from 8am.
If your planning a lie in, you'll be disturbed by breakfast as
it's outside the rooms but we were up early so it did'nt
bother us.
Sometimes you can hear the noises that other residents make in the
hallway or in the rooms very clearly. Also, when we left at around 5am
there was no hot water. This was a real letoff. I don't know if
it's normal or not. We only had it once.
Note: The hotel is not easy to find, it's on the first floor of an apartment. It's number 1 of Via Buccari 3.
The room we had was awesome, but a little small... perfect for a 4 day trip but if you have big luggage, maybe a challenge.
a bit hard to find as situated in a block of residentail flats with not a lot of signposting. but a small detail.

Room was very small. It's away from many attractions.
The rroms are into an apartment, so your privace is broked. The walls are very weak, so you can hear all the noises from other rooms or kitchen. The owners doesn't speak english very well. The breakfast is very poor. It just had sweet things. Poor diabetics.
