  The location and the design of the hotel was fantastic. We liked how the hotel was almost brand new (having been recently restored), yet had been with the same family for a few generations. The property did not feel like a hotel at all - it felt more like a family home, lovingly restored, and open to the discerning public - A fantastic renovation of beautiful historic buildings by the owners,the finishes are a compliment to their obvious eye for design by blending new with old. Bed very comfortable and linen pristine. Our room offered stunning views of the surrounding countryside with Sienna in the distance. The welcome offered to us on arrival was fantastic without being over the top and we were relaxing in our room no more than 5 minutes after parking the car. If your're thinking of any other in this area then don't you won't find better than this. We loved our stay and will be r - We were exceptionally pleased with the flexibility of the owner as we arrived later than planned and she guided us right to the hotel. Cinzia was actually willing to drive down, meet us and lead us up if we needed her to. Besides being wonderfully accommodating, she also made several great suggestions for dining and shopping. Cinzia was so friendly she immediately made us feel right at home. A terrific experience and well worth the trip.
