  The location was perfect - metres from the main street. Really good breakfast - just ask for eggs, bacon, cheese etc. Roof terrace was great, lots of sun loungers and not too crowded. Pool is not huge but fine to cool off in.and has lovely views. They can organise a cheap trip to a nearby private beach which was definitely worth doing. We got the ... hva folk sier » bus from the airport which solved the parking problem, and was easy to use. Bus station is about 15 mins downhill on the way home though we did get a - The staff where very friendly and always happy to help. We had a very pleasant week. Rooms are small but big enough not to be too cramped if staying longer the a few days. Was excepting a little noise from other reviews but did not experience any inconvenience late at night.

  Good help from manager and staff, even helping one of our number with his broken phone! Breakfast was excellent overlooking the harbour from the rooftop restaurant. Small balconies overlooking same harbour.   Excellent location for sightseeing. Beds and pillow (self selection)excellent as were the bathroom and breakfast. Highly recommended. - Staff were friendly and very helpful and efficient. I drove to the hotel and all I had to do was follow the signs to the Best Western Mediterraneo once I entered the city of Catania.I was able to find it with ease.

  The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was relaxing and delicious. The location was in a quiet area yet two blocks from the main street. We were picked-up and taken back to the dock free of charge. - Otsatnding charming hotel with unique decoration, great breakfast and a wonderful garden park to be used by the hotel guests.

  Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Good internet connection. Parking always available outside the hotel. A good-sized room. The heating/cooling system was excellent at all times and not noisy. The shower was very large (although a bit old and tired). The view over the harbour from our room. The panoramic view in the breakfast room and a good breakfa... hva folk sier » st with cold meats, cheese, muesli, yoghurt, fresh fruit and juice (as well as the usual Italian cakes). - The location was superb and as we chose not to drive on our short break, the buses, bars and restaurants were all on our doorstep. Our room had lovely sea views and we were not disappointed with anything. Our host was most welcoming and we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you Walter for your hospitality and kindness.
