  Nice hotel. We had an amazing view. It's old, it's Italian, don't have the highest expectations. AC didn't get cool in our room, but it's was around 75F so not too bad. Parking is really minimal. I drive and SUV, parked it on the ramp and left the keys. The hotel staff moved around the vehicle and parked it.   I thought this was a great hotel. The room and bathroom were lovely, especially the bathroom where the modern fixtures were super and the capacious shower a real treat. The staff were tremendous: helpful and very friendly. The hotel is on a beautiful little piazza, and there are a couple really good trattoria really close by. We had an upgrade to a lovely spacious room with two balconies from which we could look out over the old town with the swifts flying over the roof tops. Isabel on reception was extremely helpful with advice on parking, local restaurants and, of course, directions to Montalbano sites.
