The location was perfect - metres from the main street. Really good breakfast - just ask for eggs, bacon, cheese etc. Roof terrace was great, lots of sun loungers and not too crowded. Pool is not huge but fine to cool off in.and has lovely views.
They can organise a cheap trip to a nearby private beach which was definitely worth doing.

pleasant week. Rooms are small but big enough not to be too cramped if
staying longer the a few days. Was excepting a little noise from other
reviews but did not experience any inconvenience late at night.

Some have commented on the lack of parking but the reality of the tiny island of Ortygia is that driving the narrow streets *barely* wide enough for 1 car is a challenge. Most amazing place I have ever stayed. Total relaxation both at La Forrsteria and at the nearby private beach. Fabulous food and the most attententive and friendly staff who did all they could to make you feel welcome and at home. Very personal and wonderful experience. Worth every penny!

Amazing service - a welcome prosecco on arrival, luggage taken up to our room from the car, room is tidied twice a day. Very nice private beach with free deckchairs/umbrellas. Great location by Isola Bella and close to the cablecar up to Taormina town. Would definitely recommend as a treat! -
