This is a very well appointed hotel that is a pleasure to visit. There
is a lovely garden around the hotel. It was easy for us and our 8 year
old son to walk to all major attractions. The area is quiet at night and
there are excellent nearby restaurants. Breakfast was excellent,
consisting of cold meats, cheese, eggs, fresh fruit, cereals and
numerous tarts and pastries. The staff were very helpful and provided
maps and outlined the best way to walk to where we wanted to go. Our son

Villa Laetizia is a lovely hotel in the Prati section of Rome. A nice
place to stay if you are looking for a little quiet from the bustle of
the city. Room was not large but adequate and had a nice little
kitchenette for longer stays. Lovely neighborhood close to the Vatican.

Our host Roberto, his wife and the staff were welcoming and took extra
care of our needs. We booked two single rooms and sometimes in the past
we have been allocated tiny, substandard rooms. The rooms at the Celio
were charming, clean and the location between the Colosseo and Laterano
was fabulous. This was the first time we have ventured out of the
Trevi/Tritone area. (We go to Rome each year over past 15 years and
this experience was one of our most enjoyable. Grazie Roberto!!
