  Hotel Mimosa Chose because of price and proximity to Pantheon n lots of other attractions. Nervous when arrived - only a small placard on the wall of a side street cabbie located only by address. Luckily the main doors were open to get access to the upstairs reception desk. There was a lift, much needed following a 10 day cruise worth of luggage... hva folk sier » . Don't expect too much - basic small room (#11) but clean with a large tile shower. No TV, hair dryer, fridge or access to much ice (can borrow hai - We were impressed by the helpful, friendly and very warm welcome here at this hotel. We stayed 3 nights and were given a very spacious room with the best views down the street. We enjoyed peaceful nights sleep and a very nice breakfast every morning with cheerful and friendly service. This felt like a home away from home.   The place is a bit old, but surprisingly clean and tidy, the owner does not speak english but very nice and always smiling, very close to the termini and all the shops, would recommend this to tight budget travelers. - excellent location, nice staffs, nice wifi , i love the smile of the old lady owner !

  Feel like I made an informed decision based on the reviews I read. Sure, the room and shower were quite small but I was experiencing travel like the Europeans do. I have stayed in smaller rooms. Located near Termini railway station. A large (comparing to other hotels in Rome), simple but clean room, it has all necessary facilities. For breakfast you need to go to a cafe outside, where you can have a cup of coffee/tea/milk and a cake which are very tasty. The main historical places are a 30-min walk from the hotel.   Location was great! Only three blocks from the main train station in Rome! A great laundry one block away, restaurants also close by. Our room slept four adult-sized family members in four individual single beds which were comfortable.   The hotel was close to the Termini and in a safe location. The girls at reception were friendly and helpful and also carried my suitcase up to the first floor...much appreciated . The bed was comfortable with furniture being tradipional - Staff were excellent, very helpful and informative.
