Tourist House Ghiberti was very close to the Duomo and within easy walking distance of the railway station and all the attractions we came to see. Claudio was an excellent host. It's proximity to the Duomo gave us an excellent central point from which to do all our touring on foot. Breakfast selection was varied and good. We loved everything! We had 3 rooms during our 2 day stay. Hotel staff was unbelievably helpful. They made our museum reservations, gave us detailed info about Florence, and even tried to get our rental car delivered to the hotel instead of the airport. The rooms were so perfectly Tuscan that I felt like I was on a movie set. Breakfast was fabulous

He can recommend everything from the best gellato to resturants, siteseeing, shopping. He gives you his cell phone number so you can contact him with questions while you are out. Snacks water, etc. are available in the dining room all day, as well as cocktail beverages.
