  We loved the location of this hidden gem! It is located in Forio, near the top of the mountain. We were nervous at first because the cab driver just kept saying "oh too far, very hard". We soon found that he meant to drive his cab to the hotel ( lots of winding narrow roads, took about 45 minutes). But we got to our destination and couldn't have b... hva folk sier » een happier. It is run by a family. The dad was a builder and the mom a decorator. The daughter speaks the most English and the whole family was extre - We have chosen this hotel for our honeymoon in August 2013 from huge list of hotels on Ischia and as soon as we arrived we were SO glad of our choise. The hotel staff is very helpful and nice, the location is perfect - it's very quiet, but you can reach all the places and sights that you need (they have a free transfer to city and to the beach). Renting a car is a very good solution, but we didn't rent cause we were afraid of tricky roads on island. The breakfast is nice, but there aren't much

  Great view to the sea. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We stayed only for 2 nights but we had the chance to take part to a traditional Ischian evening - a very relaxing and happy atmosphere. Free shuttle bus to the beach. Transfer to the ferry very early in the morning - not expensive.   The hotel was delightful and the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. The restored convent is beautifully decorated. Anyone planning a special event would love this hotel. Everything at the hotel seems to be selected with great care. The antiques throughout the hotel make you feel like you are living in another era. Worth remembering that this is a B&B, so it took a while to establish that we could have an evening meal there. Once we did it was very good and served in a room with stunning views.

  Very nice, quiet place! The beautiful thermal pools and a saltwater pool. Nice restaurant on the beach with affordable prices and nice staff. The perfect place for relax - really recommend to all! from the hotel to the Ischia porto is walk not more than 15 minutes: there are many nice restaurants, interesting places to walk. (ticket costs 10 euros per person) A taxi from the hotel to the port costs 12 euros (without luggage) - absolutely beautiful with 10 thermal pools and ocean swimming. we upgraded to sea view room and were given a one room cottage with lawn and patio table. I did hydro therapy for six days - a wonderful experience just floating in pool and an outstanding physical therapist. I think the upgraded rooms were much nicer but 40E more per night. Really miss Ichica relaxing and beautiful
