A B&B which is equivalent to a 3* hotel! A very charming host who gave us help and support in visiting Pisa, the surroundings, Lucca; finding good restaurants; organizing our trip. While located on the outskirts of Pisa (free parking!) there is a very good bus connection to the historic center, thus this was a very good value for money for visiting Pisa and the surroundings. We wholeheartedly recommend the place for a city-tour in Tuscany!.
alle vurderinger » Really really nice old lady who only speaks Italian but has people there to deal with international guests. Even as we were late on arrival, they called letsbookhotel.com to contact us and they waited until 10 pm and let us check-in. Cute inventory, spacious room, A/C. the lady was very helpful, she assisted us with finding the hotel, since is quite hidden from public roads, but she was helpful. rooms were clean and tidy. you definitely need a car to get there, or use a taxi, not sure about public transport. The room for three was spacious and very nicely furnished. It included also balcony. Breakfast was nice and Italian style as promised. And most of all the lady was very friendly and helpful. Hostess was very friendly and extremely helpful about Pisa highlights. Room was excellent and just what we needed for our one night stay. We cannot fault it for a one or two night stay. The host lady was very helpful albeit our Italian were poor, we manage to understand most things, eg where to park our car in the city centre, where to eat etc... The owner is a lovely woman, very gracious and works hard to make sure you have everything you need. The room was clean, and the owner was very nice. The city center can be reached easily by bus. Hostess was friendly, the room was huge and airy, very well appointed. great hospitality, operated by a wonderful lady who is very helpful. A comfortable B & B - wonderfully helpful Owner. There is a nice garden, where you can have the breakfast. nothing at all, bit outside of town and might be difficult to find, but with a car and a gps everything fine. Better signing outside would have helped us locate it. Our GPS failed to identify the place. Since its in a residential apartment, took us a while to figure it out as there are no large signs outside the building to identify this B&B. Advice is to get guidance beforehand from the host. Although the bedrooms were 'nonsmoking', the apartment was not, thus it was difficult to get to sleep because of the smoky environment. Non-smoking HAS to be the WHOLE apartment. I would not have stayed had I known this. Difficult to find: was actually a flat in a block. Doesn't look much from the outside, but the room was great. No signage for the B & B. At 1am this place is difficult to find and you need to know in advance exactly where you are heading. We were rescued by our hostess who came out in her car to find us. Difficult to find the location. It is not a house it is an apartment in a block. Coffee can be improved. Location, breakfast. Breakfast had no fresh-baked bread, just sliced packed bread. Location good if you had own car. Maybe due to the high season, the price is a little bit expensive.
