  The hotel was clean and comfortable and a lovely breakfast was provided. The staff were all friendly and polite. I was especially impressed with Lara. She was so welcoming and friendly and made me feel right at home. She was able to answer numerouse questions for me and was most helpful. - As it was late in the season, the city was not crowde... hva folk sier » d, but there was a marathon, with runners and bike riders everywhere on the Sunday, which provided diversion from the culture and history. The hotel was convieniently located close to the station and the older part of the city.

  Hotel was well located for visiting Lucca walled city. Close to shops and 10 mins taxi ride from the train station. Hotel staff were helpful and room was quite basic but clean and comfortable - Clean and value for money. Very close (15 mins) to entrance of walled city. Excellent meal in Lucca. beautiful part of the world. Lots of parking space ... hva folk sier » at the hotel.
