  The staff was amazing, extremely helpful, always smiling and attentive. So the 10-15 minutes to the nearest subway station or the Spanish Steps is really nothing. Read up on Roman - This is a very well appointed hotel that is a pleasure to visit. There is a lovely garden around the hotel. It was easy for us and our 8 year old son to walk to all major attractions. The area is quiet at night and there are excellent nearby restaurants. Breakfast was excellent, consisting of cold meats, cheese, eggs, fresh fruit, cereals and numerous tarts and pastries. You can even see the top of the St. Peter's while swimming in the pool. - I had three wonderful days here and already want to go back. My room was compact but very comfortable and clean.
