  I had a very pleasant stay at Caligola resort and hereby recommend it to everyone! The location is just great, nearby to Trastevere. Room was perfect, with a good bed and bathroom, big TV and nice balcony. Everything was cleaned daily. Roberto, the owner and his daughter and son are very friendly and helpful.   The hotel was conveniently located between the Piazza del Popolo and the Vatican (a 10 minute walk to both) and from the Piazza you can continue through to the shopping areas and Spanish steps.   The choice to book the Town House for our stay in Rome was the best we could do. Antonella was a great hostess and gave us a lot of insider-information you would not find in a guide. The district where the Town House lays, is a silent part of Rome with nice restaurants round the corner. The room was absolutely tidy, you would not find the tiniest dust particle somewhere, the bed very comfortable, the atmosphere - Antonella is an wonderful host who went above and beyond to ensure that our stay in Rome was a pleasant one.   We liked the location being close to the Vatican, close to the bus, metro and taxi stations. The staff is very cordial, professional and helpful. The accommodations are clean and comfortable. The roof garden terrace is great for breakfast, aperitifs, with a view which is unique in Rome. There are lemon trees, olive trees, kumquat trees, lavende... hva folk sier » r bushes, Bougainville bushes, and other lovely flowers. We strangely recommend the hotel as world travelers. - I found the staff of the well positioned hotel to be its greatest asset, they went out of their way to ensure that everything I did in Rome was perfect. They were great in their recommendations and everyone I had dealings with were incredibly knowledgable on Rome. I highly recommend it and would stay there again next time in Rome.
