  Location was quite close to Santa Maria Novella station and it is near to every attractions in Florence. You only have to walk for about 10-15 minutes to the main Duomo. The receptionist was very helpful and gave us a complete information about Florence. He also let us to check in earlier than the schedule. - The room was very large, great value ... hva folk sier » for money and very close to smn station and close to the centre of Florence. We were very happy with this hotel. The staff were also very helpful and gave us good directions. Highly recommended and would stay here again.

  For my experience, the price/value ratio was excellent. Please keep in mind you are not paying for a 5 start hotel, so it simply is not fair to go in with such expectations. After a long day in the attraction you can relax in your room looking the river and the other side of the town. Few blocks away from the train terminal and attraction.   It was a great stay in Hotel Genzianella. The staff is really polite and all of them speak english. We checked in on friday 8th november. They gave us a city map, explain how to find all the sights, where to eat local tasty food, but not in the tourist area. Also the hotel is 24/7. It is 20 minutes far away from the station and 10 minutes from Duo... hva folk sier » mo. Location is great. The hotel is located on the 3rd and 4th flor but there is elevator. I totally recommend this hotel. - We only stayed for one night, so I can't really offer a great review...but our room was clean, large and comfortable, the man at reception was very friendly and helpful, WiFi was free and worked okay, and the location is great. Although we didn't use them, the common room and dining area looked nice too!
