  We booked two bedroom's suite on top floor with living room and kitchen, and bathroom with separate shower. As long you know it is a historical building, so we wouldn't mind to use the staircase to the fourth floor. There is no window to face the plaza so no noise from the crowd at night. We found everything we need in the kitchen to make our own meal and breakfast. The staffs are very fr - We stayed at the Benvenuto apartment and found it to be very spacious and comfortable. It is very clean and beautiful inside. Breakfast is very good.the staff is very nice. You have to take into account that it is located on a fourth flour and there is no elevator: important when you have medium suitcases, and that the reception is open just part time.The location can´t be better

  The hotel is small, but lovely and the staff are very kind and helpful. You can't beat the location--so close to many of the main attractions of Florence. Due to road closures because of flooding in our area of the USA, we missed our flight to Florence and arrived 2 days late. Our expectations were definitely exceeded! The breakfast was the best we h - This was a super hotel in an awesome location for Florence. The rooms were large by European standards and beautiful. Very clean, quiet, comfortable and well priced. The manager of the day, Sebastian, was beyond helpful and even came to get us when we got lost driving in Florence - so the service was above excellent service. Also the breakfasts were super and were very complete with eggs, bacon, fruit and breads. I absolutely would stay there again!

  First of all, the location couldn't be better. It is located about 2 blocks south of the Duomo, and 2 blocks north of Ponte Vecchio bridge and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted. There are city buses, and unbelieveably one of them comes right down the narrow street with a stop right in front of the B&B, so coming from the train statio... hva folk sier » n with suitcases was no problem (1.5 euro bus ticket). The staff was excellent, and helpful in suggesting sights not to miss and how to get to them - Bruno showed us the most wonderful hospitality, we had a fantastic stay with him in Florence! He helped us book a lovely restaurant and was endlessly helpful with where to go and what to see in his home town. The B&B is his home and is run with warmth & love. The rooms are clean, comfortable & simple. There are tea and coffee facilities available at all times and a little mini bar for your use. Location is wonderful, right in the heart, near the Duomo but not at all noisy. Recommen

  I give Florence Chic a good review. The bed was very comfortable and was a double bed rather than two twins shoved together. The room was clean, and decorated nicely. The host couple were very helpful and when we needed a taxi at 5am, they arranged the taxi the day before and also they prepared us an early breakfast for us on our departure day. The location was excellent, only about a 5 minute walk from the Duomo or Ponte Vecc - We visited Florence for 2 days as a wedding anniversary with my wife. As we stepped in the b&b immediately we had an upgrade to a very chic room, spacious and with all the amenities plus free wifi. The b&b is centrally located and all you need is strength to go around and visit this "museum" city.   We had a great time at Residenza Gambrinus. Since there was the cycling world championships during our stay, many streets in the city center were blocked. The owner of the hotel met us outside the city center and guided us directly to a central garage where we could leave our car during the stay. Arriving at the Residenza, we realized how central the hotel really is - just 200 mete - A perfect location to see Florence as it was in the centre for shopping and sightseeing. Extremely clean with modern fittings and nothing was too much trouble for the host . It was a bit tricky finding the location and bags have to be taken up I flight of stairs in order to reach the lift . The concierge is only there for limited hours.. But none of this worried us as the location and standard of facilities was well worth it .
