  Generator was a great place to stay in Venice. Even though it is on Giudecca, there is a vaporetto stop near the hostel and getting to St. Mark's Square is quick and easy. Staff were generally helpful and made a special effort to help us locate a lost piece of luggage at the airport. We stayed in a 4 bed with an en suite bathroom that was clean, s... hva folk sier » pacious, and had a great view. The lobby was inviting and modern, and the breakfast is a good value. Certainly better than your average budget hostel. - They helped me to charge my phone when my cable got broken. Very comfortable beds with lights that don't disturb others. Quite cheap, good breakfast for additional price. It was a half-populated 16 person dorm, but it was comfortable to stay there. It is on a separate island from the city center, but public transport is working all the night so it's not a problem.

  Mr. Marco - owner of Venice garden hostel is very nice. I checked out late until 7:00 pm because Our train was 8:30 pm and he help me to print the train ticket, give the place for my baby enjoying without any charge. Location is very good for big luggages like me. You can take a bus from Santa Lucia station and stop in Crea station to come Venice ... hva folk sier » Garden hostel.
